That IS crazy! Teenagers usually pick up phones and computers with no problem, so it doesn't sound like they've had much experience at all. Computers are so common it seems you can't get very far without them. O.O Good thing they have you to kindly help them out!
Hello there~ waves I spent pretty much all day playing video games. :P Sounds like you both were more social and productive than me! ^.^
Ooo cool! I really want to get into more JRPG's, though I seem to be a bigger fan of western RPG's.
I'm playing through Dragon Age Inquisition right now, so high-five for dragon RPG's! :)
Do you play on PC or a console?
I loooove RPG games! last I checked I was on 98 hours on DQ XI, and still haven't finished the 2nd act (out of 3) LOL DAI is such a good game (and will agree too!) and I cannot wait for the next game to come out!!!
I play on console; we have the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox 360 and One XDXD
I'm about, maybe 70 hours in, and I haven't even been to 3 of the areas I unlocked? O.O It's such an enormous game, lmao...
It's probably a good thing DA4 is a ways off. I'm super late to the video gaming scene, so I have a lot of classic RPG's to catch up on. My list currently has: KOTOR 2 (got stuck halfway and lost interest lol), Mass Effects, Witcher, Skyrim, Baldur's Gate, and Assassin's Creed. Let me know if you have recommendations!
Haha, that's quite a collection! I only have my PC, hehe...
That works! I know people are hoping for Nacho...I wouldn't mind trying him...not sure if Haneul can beat him
I would highly recommend Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (it's for Nintendo Switch if you get it in the future), it's such a big game and with an amazing story... I put around 220 hours into that game alone!
Hubby would really recommend Hollow Knight, and says DQ XI exists for PC as well The Tales of games are another good set of games (I personally recommend Tales of Berseria!!!), and the Persona 5 game for PS4
Final Fantasy games have a great story as well, and some of them are also for PC :D
I cannot recall the last time I fought Nacho lol
If I ever get a Switch, I think I'd also like to play Breath of the Wild. That game looks so pretty!
Is your hubby trying to trick me? :P I've heard of how hard Hollow Knight is even from my much more hardcore gamer friends! Has he beat it? Me for sure, I just give up on pretty much any game that requires reflex and timing. I play my RPG's on easy mode hahaha...
How could I have forgotten BOTW? Such a great game ! :D
Well Hollow Knight IS a great game, but yeah... maybe be a tricky and hardcore game to play LOL He did beat it though!
If reflex and timing are not much your thing, then maybe Quantum Break might not be the best suggestion either LOL (it's a shooting game)
Ahh, breath of the wild! I'm still at the beginning, but it's so good! I love that you can interact with everything that you see and that there's not really a set path. It makes the world really come alive.
Recently I've been playing a lot of Stardew Valley. I got it awhile ago when it was on sale for PC, played for like an hour, then stopped. But I've logged several hours in the last few days and am really enjoying it.
I also pre-ordered Animal Crossing: New Horizons the other day. So hyped! (can you tell I'm a casual lifestyle-sim-loving gamer? lol)
Guided by a new era, Sailor Neptune acts with grace!
Hey, gamers (: I'm getting ready for work after having Sunday off I was a bit lazy, I admit, and only got a few things done offline and on subeta. Some highlights:
Happy new week, yall!

Did you play any of the other Dragon Age games? I am a bit obsessed.
Yes! I've played Origin and DA2 (though not all the DLC). With a plot that runs through the whole series, I think playing from the beginning makes much more sense!
And I'm quite obsessed as well. Let us obsess together. :D
Yes! It as for an event here but now I cannot remember what (maybe morostide?) and I don't want to take it off :D
Ohhhhhh! When you finish DAI let me know, we will gush gush gush. I love the cross over and the lore you learn from this one game alone (helps fill in previous gaps). If you don't have the DAI DLCs, I just got The Descent last time I played (dropped EA premium plan and bought them all instead since those are basically the only games I played on it). If you love the Dwarf stories and want to learn more about their history, that was a super fun one to plan. I did it kind of fast to progress in the story but plan to go back and take it slower next time and really uncover more.
A tip with DAI: Once you finish the game, click the golden nug. He will let you remember recipes/stuff you unlocked across game plays. I forgot about this when I restarted a couple years ago and had lost a ton of stuff. xD Getting back there though!
It might be a while before I finish the game, it's so huge! I'm about 70 hours in, and right after the Fade bit, so if you want to gush about anything before that (and in DAO or DA2 of course), feel free to PM me!
I feel like I will only have time to play through once, so I'm pretty careful about doing as many side quests as I can, and talking to all my companions and stuff. I only do a main quest when I get really bored from sweeping through quests in the areas. :P
I do have all the DLC! Although I'm only level 16, and I'm a little low even for Descent. I do plan to do them all once I'm done with the game! They're short in comparison to the main game haha...
wasn't spiderman into the spiderverse so good?? I loved it!! Such a great story, beautiful art, and an amazing soundtrack to top it off ^_^
really digging your HA <3
Oh boy, you say that now but it may suck you in for another round :D What race/class are you playing at the moment? I've done speed runs when the itch hits me and you can complete it fairly quickly (NGL by this point I use mods so I can just rush through without worrying about death etc). I hope you didn't get stuck in the Hinterlands too long. I made that mistake when I first played, but in reality the game is meant to skip over that almost immediately unless you want to go back after getting the horsemaster. :x I started a "completionist" round where I was collecting all items you can get etc, it is fun to try to do! :)
Speaking of HAs, I like yours! I love the elegant look some people can put together with theirs <3 Is yours for anything in particular or just liked how it came together?
I have seen some of that (spiderman)! My son watched it a few times and I'd chill with him here and there. It was definitely really neat! I plan to do a full watch.
I did it, lord have mercy. First part of the college bit is done, officially starting vet classes on Monday :D I am also CPR certified too, I tell you what, my hands have never been so bruised, le ouch.
right?? its kinda scary, these girls are going into nursing and they don't know the simple common things. One girl had a 40 in math and only a 50 in anatomy and this was her second attempt.
heh, erm.... I forgot to watch that one? ^^;
Gamers: rock on my fellow peeps :D I love my switch, Breath of the Wild is so much fun, still wandering around in there. I'm a old geek where it concerns Pokemon XD I love that stuff, regardless of everyone complaining, the new game is a blast. Warcraft is still my go too XD new expansion coming out, I know where I'll be for the next few months.
I just pulled two heart shaped cakes out of the oven. We're planning on using jelly in between the layers before using a frosting! (:
I did enjoy the animation (very trippy during fight scenes) and the soundtrack (as you said and "Sunflower" is a song I do wish were longer!). Mostly I enjoyed the storytelling and found the humor relatable -- even my mother chuckled and ended up enjoying herself. I recommend for kids of ALL ages! I love Spidey-Gwen 💗
