Guys! It's raining, like really raining...it's pouring! And it's meant to stay like this for a few days, and the temp has dropped, and our fields are turning green again...and just...YAY!

Only...now, The Northern Territory and Western Australia are under cyclone warning...parts of Sydney are having flash floods...and my area of NSW (coastal Illawarra) is under 'severe weather' warning-for torrential/heavy rain

And all this rain is said to wash to ash away into one of our major dams...

So...no more fires...but...at least 5 days rain?

I'll take the rain over the heat though!

Yeah, definitely rain over heat. And I feel like dealing with reconstruction after flooding and cleaning out dams would be easier to recover from than having everything just be torched.

I've been outta school 15 yrs and these kids who are mostly fresh outta highschool don't know how to do a spread sheet or even a word doc o.o' didn't even know how to save to the desktop and load it from there

I had a pretty good day today. Got some things around the house done, had a nice shower and changed my sheets, and went to visit some friends I hadn't seen in awhile at a potluck housewarming/birthday party.

Sounds like a good day indeed ! Hubby and I went to a friend's house yesterday for dinner, we hadn't seen her in almost a year and a half!

I am ready for survival! I'm hoping for some new books...and maybe doggie items. If they are new clothes my character can wear, that'll be good too!
