vibrant. that green is awful.

i'm also not a fan of chibi and nostalgic overall, but there are a couple of exceptions, such as the chibi telenine, so i'm not totally against them like i am vibrant.

I didn't even know Vibrant existed, but I actually kind of like it, in a super garish way!

I generally don't like Marsh pets, they're so drab and plain :-/

Gold and probably Bloodred. I like a few BR Pets, but I never keep them for long because I then start to dislike them pretty quickly. ^^

Graveyard. So much NO. I think my feelings go past dislike and into the despise range. There are a couple I don't mind: the dillema with its white stuffing spilling out and the donadak because it looks like mossy, weathered stone. As for the rest, I can almost smell the decay. (And on some days there is no almost; it can definitely trigger a scent memory for me and obviously not a nice one.)

Oddly enough I like Bloodred, which is the only other "disgusting" color available. Probably because it makes me think of vampires and I like vampires... Well, certain portrayals of them at least.

Bloodred and Graveyard. I guess you can tell from this that I'm not big on horror movies :P

I don't like majority of the bloodred pets and there's only a few that really appeal to me (I really like Legeica & Lain but not the rest of them) - I just find the blood spilling out everywhere not to my taste. I like the black/red colour combo but I just don't like the gore.

I like a couple of Graveyard pets (Paralix, Escalade, Illumis, Legeica, Neela) but otherwise, I'm not a fan of exposed organs and disembered limbs spilling everywhere...

I actually don't mind Vibrant that much - I think purple and lime green is an interesting/unique/uncommon/gaudy colour combo which kind of reminds me of the 80's and to a lesser extent 60's - it's not easy to palate but I just like that for this colour-fill it's a bit different from the rest.

I kinda feel the same way about Graveyard, but I agree about the Dillema and Donadak! I guess 'cos they're not really organic, and the Dillema trying to sew itself back up is cute. I like the Graveyard Ghostly and Harvester too, but again, they're not really dead animals XD

I bet they are a pain to draw, but the Nightmare pets look so cool ;X; Spooky without being gory.

And I forgot all about Chibi... yeeeeah don't like that one much either, except for the Ghostly. It's cute XD (And I'm sorta partial to Ghostlies anyway.)

But as for colors a lot of people dislike, I love the Galactic! ;X; I really want a Galactic pet but haven't thought of a character for one yet. And I really like the Nostalgic series because some of them are so creative, and they're all very different from one another. (plus, you know, BALLOON DILLEMA)

There are certain pets of every color that I like, but I'm not really a huge fan of Graveyard overall. Zombies are really gross to me, so that trickles down to the Graveyard color too, haha! I also find Steamwork pets to be a bit much to look at sometimes. The artwork and the detail are amazing, but they're not my favourite.

I don't like the Graveyard Ghostly because it makes me think of a ragged scarecrow and apparently that's become slightly unsettling for me after watching a few renditions of the Batman villain Scarecrow. But it's certainly not in the same range of dislike as its rotting companions so I guess I don't really mind it either. I just dislike a little bit more than the Donadak and Dillema. -shrugs-

As for the Harvester, it annoys me that it doesn't look more intimidating. None of the Harvesters look quite how I want them to, because I have seen some amazing Grim Reaper-themed artwork and it has given me unrealistic expectations. LOL

[edit] Also wanted to say that, I'm in the minority (apparently) that actually likes Vibrant. It's not a favorite color overall but it's my favorite color fill. In fact, I love the Vibrant Archan so much that it is among my favorite color/species combos ever. It's literally the only color fill on that list.

mmmmm I think my least favorite has to be the Steamwork pets, and its for the pettiest of reasons too >.> I was so hyped when they came out, their whole story stemmed from my absolute favorite event on the site. I have desperately wanted one since then purely because of that....but I just don't like how any of them look D: It makes sense, the actual art is really good, and I'm glad its consistent across all the pets, but I just find them entirely unappealing which is the biggest disappointment to me because I so so so badly want to like one of them. Any of them!

Sometimes I have issues with Graveyard because it makes me feel a bit sick to my stomach looking at some of them, but I'm generally cool with that color. And I pretty much generally enjoy all the rest of them XD The basic recolors have their high and low points depending on the pet with each color highlighting different pets best, and even if I don't like all the pets from the rest of the colors they all at least have a couple of pets that inspire my imagination.

Graveyard's just impossible for me to work with, and often it's just.. eh. I love vulture culture and bone-collecting and all that, but for some reason I just don't find the Graveyard aesthetic all that appealing. It might be the palette, it might be the distinct deformities and guts, I dunno. If there was a pet color that was like the cash shop's "bone garden" theme, I'd be all over that. In hilarious contrast, I really like Bloodred pets and have a good few of them. It's less the blood and more the poses & personality they have going-- my own Bloodred Legecia is perfect for this, he's what he is because of the defensive, afraid, even angry personality it has. The blood's just an extra.

Steamwork's a fun idea, but it also rarely ever works for me because it's so cluttered and overly-detailed. I never go to Steamwork for robotic/mechanical pets, I almost always just make a Cadogre or Endeavor instead.

And yeah, Chibi. Some of them are cute, but it's just overall really boring to me when I'd rather explore other personality traits with other colors.

I'm kinda disappointed with the nuclear color? I dunno, i just felt like it doesn't quite reach my expectations of it D;

Graveyard. While there are some I do genuinely love (Fester, Neela, maybe the Telenine and Xotl), it's just not my thing. The art itself is very well done. I'm just not a zombie/undead fan.

To echo the sentiment here, I really do not like vibrant. The colors are garish and the shade of green is far too highlighter-y for me to enjoy looking at.

Nostalgic is a hit or miss. Many of them are great (ie. the Chelon, the Chai, the Devonti, the Endeavor, the Manchu, the Legeica, the Illumis, etc), but a lot of them are also too....lifeless (?) for my taste (Hipottu, Dillema, Dragarth, etc) I think someone above said it best when they said that many of the Nostalgic pets look more like objects than actual pets.

I'm also not the biggest fan of Gold. The metal, gold look definitely looks great on a few pets (ex. Torrent, Mahar, and Xotl), and a few of the pets that look more yellow than gold also look great (Noktoa and Lain), but I think it looks odd on the majority of pets.

Spectrum and Blacklight, though Blacklight is slightly better. I don't care much for Harvest either. The milky, rust-brown is just unpleasant to look at for me :(

Vibrant isn't something I'm a fan of, but I can appreciate that it's quite a bit different than the other base-pose colors, so it's nice to have it on the site, I think.

I guess my least favorite would probably be Cherry... some of the Reborn and Sun pets are pretty red already, so it's a bit redundant in my eyes. Still, other people like it, so good for them! :)

Bloodred. I avoid everything with it.

Bloodred is not my cup of tea; the bloodied and angry aesthetic is not what I want in my life. Even Graveyard and Nightmare (the other "horror" colors) have a certain morbid appeal (some pets cross the line for my tastes but the theme in general is ok)...

For color fill, Dawn and Sun are disappointing to me. Dawn because a lot of pets are that weird greyish pink that looks like it needs a wash or have a purple I don't like, and ... I love bright pinks and yellows and creams so I just look at the interpretation of the palette askance sometimes. And Sun because, well, I apparently tolerate a very small band of orange colors.

(Y'all who hate vibrant -- are you looking at it with a browser that obeys color profiles or not [this is curiosity, not trying to get you to like the color]? It's bright and garish but in a beautiful way. My only complaint is that the mane on the Archan makes me want that kind of berry color to be prominent on all of them. And I prefer the yellow as an accent versus the main color, which is the only reason I don't have a Vibrant Kerubi right now).

I can find pets I like in most colour, but I'm not too keen on the Blacklight colour myself. In fact, I really don't like it! I love Spectrum pets but the blacklight versions just makes them look... tacky? to me at least, anyway.
