you get used to it but I know what you mean. I havent found many seriously good pizzas that you couldnt live without.

Its all good...I mostly eat birds (chicken and turkey) and seafood...every once in a great while I might have some other meat, but ya...I usually stick to that and Im a animal lover too but Ive come to terms with it that everything is connected in the food chain and "eats each other" even if the humans dont like being a part of the chain! LOL

true, you haven't but then again, you aren't half Italian and just NEEED that type of food lol

I actually went christmas shopping last Sunday, but only since my mum and her friend persuaded me...and I didn't want to lay around all sunday. I found a really nice green parka (obviously Slytherin, but green is actually the colour that fits me best, aside from black. xd) and I'm really happy about it...I've thrown out some coats and jackets I had for like...10 years and the arms were just so short. xd It wasn't even that bad with all the other people. I felt embarrassed that some people where clinging to the closed windows before the stores would open at 1pm. Oh, and since Starbucks has finally Toffee nut again, I was able to order the secret Butterbeer frappuccino, which is really tasty! The gingerbread latte is great as well. I only visit Starbucks around Christmas time, as I love the seasonal recipes. :) What about you? ^^

I spent New Year's Eve with my best friend and her family. No real party, we simply have some drinks, fondue and some chocolate pudding. The street she lives is really into fireworks and I hate it. The neighbours get them from the Netherlands (which are smuggled to Germany and therefore illegal, as the amount of dynamite is too high for our market...) and they are just so loud and the kids from the neighbours want to feel 'cool' and throw them near to persons. Not nice. Last year, I lost some of my sense of hearing temporarily when a firecracker exploded really loud. We spent the time before midnight and eating with playing lasertag. c:

Hey hun! Id share the snow with you guys!! I would!! :D Its funny you got a new coat, I went to look at a green parka too (green and black suit me well as well...sometimes I will get blue...and some dark grays...but ya...got some red seasonal leggings and I didnt know what to do with myself because I dont wear red!) but the parka didnt work out so I ended up in a black fleecy coat/hoodie thing...and I wear a white faux fur neck ruff scarf thing. I usually am SO WARM! LOL :D

So we actually found slytherin socks, we were sooooo happy till we got home and tried to put them on. I dont know what they were made out of but a young kid would have troubles getting their feet into these. There was NO STRETCH at all. :( so sadly we took em back. sighs not cool. Was so excited.

I know what you mean about seeing the people pressed against the window. -.- its crazy right? but Im proud of you for getting out there and shopping. I know it is NOT easy. We are still waiting for the stores insurance to call us, we have the estimate. We did get the managers name and number so that we dont get stiffed. But you know..its the busy time of year.

I dont usually go to starbucks, never developed a taste for there coffee but Im glad you had fun and got some yummy flavors! :D Otherwise I think I just finished my list of doom and can go relax and watch my next season of TrueBlood...YAY!!! darn questathon in the middle of all this craziness! But I love the money!

That sounds lovely, apart from the noisy fireworks. Americans get overzealous with them on our Independence Day in the summer.

I knit a scarf on needles and loom knit a lot of hats. I'm going to do some beer/mug cozies if I have extra time.

Eating and watching movies sounds like a fun way to spend it!

I find the long looms much slower and more tedious than needle knitting. The round looms make knitting go faster imo. I can link you to a good video tutorial on needle knitting if you like. Scarves work on smaller round looms, but I find that round looms are great for cowls and infinity scarves.

good tutorials are always loved! I flung a needle when I was trying to learn how to knit with needles..and I actually just go back and forth without closing it, making a long panel, but I agree loom knitting is faster :D
