Spring courses I had signed up for, this will use what money I have to pay fines, and using public transportation is impractical. So my instead my priorities is the citations and resolving my license issues.
At best I could return until Summer.

Hello all! So today was the first day back after winter break. sigh To make a nice sum-up, after I got home from school, I went straight to my bed, flopped down and slept for a good 2 hours. First days are always exhausting.
I only have a couple tidbits from my day to share. I asked a girl what she did for the break. She said, "We went to Mexico to visit my cousins." "Oh! That sounds like fun." "Yeah. We got back last night. At 3 am." "Have you slept?!" (Although I won't complain about the parents dedication to get the kids back to school ASAP.)
For lunch, the cafeteria served fried chicken. Now, I've taught kids for several years now, but I still can't tell if some kids are joking or utterly serious. So when one boy stopped me to ask, "Did this come from a real chicken?", I just kind of looked at him like '...wha?' :)
When pigs fly, I want to ride one.
Ok... so I'm a total idiot. I thought the Free Shop closed on Dec 31st? Imagine my surprise when I signed on this evening and saw it is closing tomorrow. Oh well!
