haha lol. No that poor man would be to busy then.
:) I like the lights because to me they are less Christmas and more seasonal so we keep them up longer. I love colored lights.
Well, last Night wasn''t so good for me. The whole tree came down. So tonight we have to see What is wrong, a lot of my New xmas balls broke. Light's are great.
Sorry to hear about your tree. :( And the broken balls. :( I hope you can figure out the problem!
Have you guys gotten a forum box yet?
I know a little about Sinterklaas, but not so much about the exact traditions. When I was in the Netherlands on Dec. 5th, I learned it was more a private holiday and not commercialized like Christmas in North America. I looked for Sinterklaas souvenirs to buy, but could only find the bag for coal! I hope you all had a good holiday. :)

I got one box. But a really cheap item. And i think the tree is to heavy. It is this year a real big tree
I am sorry about your broken ornaments. Do you need a stand with a wider heavier base?
We have a really heavy base . So we Just have to look tonight
Have a good day. Good luck tonight with the tree.
Did you guys see the news?! We need to become very chatty as we can get a special gift box! I wonder what will be in it.
Good morning ladies!
So sorry to hear about the tree! Hopefully you can het it steady today.
Oh, a forum box. Havent had one yet, but it does seem cool!
: Love your HA :D
I haven't read the news yet.. kind of curious what it is.
sbslink
Thanks! I like how yours makes the ears work. :)
Apparently, with every post we make on the forums there is a chance of winning a forum box. Don't know what is in the box though.
Yes, let's get chatty! All the items I've gotten have been cheap, too. A friend suggested waiting a few days before opening them to see if the prizes get better -- staff said they'd release more items.

I saw some pictures, that's a big ass tree you have! It looks beautiful.
What are they hoping to do during the surgery? Tomorrow (or, well today I guess) would have been very soon, but I think it's very admirable of you to not do it because of work. Hopefully they'll appreciate your dedication. The 10th of January is still pretty quick.
Ah yes, the stubborn-factor. My in-laws have the same tendency. Are you cold? Well, you could always put on a warmer sweater ... how about we talk after that?
It must be an adjustment, from small to bigger. During cold days we never heat the entire house, but just the room(s) we're in. Mainly the living room. Everything else is still pretty cold - especially the bedroom, which we never heat.
Well, temporary and all that. But how could they not see how absolutely awesome you are and just offer you a permanent job x'D Psh, silly gooses. But it's great that you have a new, fixed job. That's even better!
Oh, I see! I guess we are just less willing to let go of presents x'D Belgians are more willing to grow up and assume responsibilities, we just like our presents and candy.
I do think it's more private, but I base that theory on whatever I watch on television. The gifts we give aren't as much Sinterklaas-themed either, just whatever works for the person. The Sinterklaas-part comes with the presenting of the gift and the poem.
But had a good holiday for sure!
Teehee, thanks! So tell me something x) anything! I went to the dentist on Tuesday and it was all good and I was happy 8D

Oh wow! First post I make since the news and guess what:
I was really wondering what could be inside, so:
Do you think items will get better? I have made several posts today and no box yet, so I need to keep posting, lol!
Well, I knew it was temporary because it was a replacement for someone who was ill. And when that person came back there was no extra work for me to do, otherwise they would have kept me. They were happy with my work, so that was nice to hear.
Belgians, grown up, hahaha! Funniest thing I have heard all day! You are talking to the people who have a little peeing man as their national symbol. 😄
Oh that is really good feedback, regardless whether or not they could keep you. And now that you have a cool new job to look forward to, it's all good.
Ah yes, but the little peeing man represents ehm ... it shows that ehm ... Belgians have a good sense of humor?
I know! I was really happy with the review they gave me, which they had sent to the interim office. It was all positive. And now looking forward to something else! It will be a new experience, with more responsability, so a bit nervous for that. :o
Yes! A weird sense of humor. We are just a funny little people. With peeing little men and everything else we are known for being either food or drinks, lol! Oh, and also some statue with 9 huge balls. Not that we are compensating... ^_^
Understandable, but I'm confident you're more than up for that challenge :3 look how great a review you got! And besides, it's good to do something where you can still learn new things.
I wouldn't know about the compensating part, but now I'm thoroughly wondering about it ... c: Belgians are know for food/drinks, but it's really yummy food and drinks. I mean, we have windmills and flowers ... who cares about those!
Small country, big balls. 😆 It is a reference to the Atomium in case I and lost you there. ;) But I love windmills! Probably because we don't have many over here. They always facinated me.
Lmao, that's a really fun way to put it. I knew which building you were referring to, though admittedly I didn't remember the name. Such a weird thing that it ~ what's it supposed to be again?
Ah but the old windmills that the Netherlands is known for aren't even being used anymore. They're just there being pretty c:
[edit] Wow. Must be my lucky day:
