I really wonder what new years will be like with lockdown in place.

I am probably just going to be playing Animal Crossing XD and watching the count down in game with my husband.

In staying home :) a friend of mine is going to stay over :D i never leave my little kitties alone with new years eve. With the lockdown i m also dont know what to espect. If people realy dont use firework

i'm also at home. Rob has to work just like every year. My sister will be at my place with her boyfriend. So just the 3 of us. Don't know what it would be like. I'm affraid a lot of cars end up in flames this year. And a lot of trouble with people that are still using fireworks

Last year they were doing okay but they were only 14 weeks, now i dont know how they reject. Atleast you will be with your husband.

Indeed we are not alone at home. But still a really strange new year.

For the first time in 17 years husband and I will be at home. Normally I was free and we went the evening before to husbands parents Where we bake oliebollen on the 31th. But because of the restrictions to only have 2 people over and I have to work we dicided that husbands sister (who is alone) can go to her parents and we stay at home

Indeed really strange this year

We will have a nice evening too. My husband and I will be visited by our daughter and her husband. We will have raclette with tons of cheese . Yummi :D I think after that we will play some games , card games or dice games and will have some drinks ;9 (not me, got today my next chemo , will have alc-free beer ^^)

I really like that there has to be no fireworks. Five years ago a rocket hit the rooftop of the house we lived. We had our apartment in the highest floor. The roof started to burn and we lost nearly everything. Not because things were burnt, it was because of all the smoke and soot and tons of water. Everything was contaminated. A special cleaning would have been too expensive.

But we had a good insurance. We found a new apartment and got money from the insurance. So we were able to buy new furniture and all those things to fill it. I was very sad because of the lost things.I had been living there for 25 years... But all this shows, that you don't need too much things and that memories live on in ones heart . It is not necessary to mourn what has been lost, but to look ahead. Easy said... sometimes it's not easy ;)

I hope next year will be better in relation to this Covid-Pandemie. I hope most people will understand that it is necessary to protect others. I hope for the vaccination. I miss concerts and festivals so much...

But I believe it will go better and better ^^
