still painfull, a lot of nerve pain. And only could walk a few steps to the toilet, but walking is a big word for it

hey all.. Not so good news :( My dad had a stroke yesterday and he is in the hospital. Not going very good..

I'm sorry to hear that, Hope he will recover soon. And everything will be okay with him.

i hope so to. Nope not the flu. I think a combo of stress, 2 days of no sleep and a cold.

They moved him from the big room (6, high care) to a smaller room (4, medium care). So far no more strokes. But still bad headaches. Still on meds and monitor. He is speaking better, can move his legs but still can't walk/stand. He get daily visits from the neuro doc, physio & speech therapist. Today or tomorrow we have a talk with the doc on the next steps

Hope you won't get the flu because you now have that bad cold and all the stress.

Hope the headaches with your dad will be gone soon. And he will talk and walk soon again.

-crosses fingers for dad- Just talked to him on the phone, my mom is with him, saying i can't come due my cold. Told him if i feel better i come tomorrow.
