That is too bad... there is indeed a widget you can add to the dashboard on the left. It is like the Bathouse Pools, also no reminder or alert.

I have it on all the time, so I automatically assume everyone has it... You got to Personal -> Dashboard -> Widget. https://subeta.net/preferences.php?act=sidebar There you can add or delete all the stuff you want on the dashboard. There is a Melody widget as well.
