Are the forums acting weird for anyone else? I can only see up to page 13 on our thread, when I click on pings, it takes me to a way older page than where they're actually posted :/ Which is making it very hard to reply to anyone. And I see an older version of my avatar to boot.

I'm meeting a realtor for the first time today, I'm super excited!

I don't think I'll quite make enough NY tokens to get everything I WL'd from the previous years but it'll be close. I've only really marked collectables, and the very rare wearable. Given how expensive the tokens are, most wears aren't worth it! There's not all that many items I like, anyway. All the items I have left to get are 20-ish tokens, so I'm getting like 2-3 a day D: It sucks.

I'm way late on this, I suspect, but... congrats on the new job :D I hope your first day went smoothly. How are you liking it so far?

I'm back at work! Second week back now, actually! Things have been a bit crazy with everything rolling over into a new year. I've come on here just to get NY tokens the last week! Its so time consuming for so few tokens, boo. I'll be glad to have a break from events for a bit after this!

Oh yay! I like both of those head items, especially the vintage flower. I have too many items in my wardrobe. I should probably have another big cleaning out and sale. Cats are the best and the worst, I swear xD Samson has started running out every time the door is open, so I have to hurry and chase him because we're technically not supposed to have him in our apartment lol. So now he knows there's other cats outside who are female, he's begun peeing in front of the door -.- He's about 5 years old and he's never done this before. But anyway! How's your day? Any fun plans? :)

I actually spent a lot of time reading today! I'm still on the first one - just after Christmas... and the second Quidditch game!

Nice! They make Christmas sounds so beautiful there <3 I would love to be able to see Hogwarts all decorated. I've been trying to read 1984 by George Orwell because it's a classic and I've been meaning to for years now, but I'm having trouble getting into it because the main character is pretty dry so far.

It's a tough read, apparently. I have friends who have tried to read it and just because it was written a little while ago the language used is a little tougher to get into, is it not?

It's partially the language, and partially just not really feeling much emotion or connection. So far all I know about the main character is that he thinks he's 39 and he hates women. I'm still trying to climb out of the YA novel block I've been in for so long. I'm 24, and I'm tired of reading about high school kids all the time lol

Ah. Yeah. I still read younger stuff from time to time. My mom recommended a few books to me this summer though that I really liked and were definitely not for teens. Try reading "The Forgotten Garden" or "The Distant Hours" by Kate Morton. I got sucked in.

I like a lot of YA novels. The Fault in Our Stars was fantastic haha. I just want to expand more. Ooo what are they about?

They're set in present day but jump back to like WWI and uncover stories about like these women's moms and grandmas and twists and whatnot. It's really good!

Nope, they're standalone which is kind of nice. You can read one and be done. I read about 3 of her books in a row and then took a little bit of a break. Nathan's sister gave me a pile of like 10 books to read. Her and I are 5 years apart so she reads a lot of those younger books as well. I read a few of those and now I'm swapped to HP for a bit.

A good mix up is nice :) I finished reading The Miseducation of Cameron Post a few weeks ago, and then tried 1984, and the difference is so big. I've been watching documentaries inside women's prisons a lot the past few days, and I have no idea why. I'm such a timid person, I would be so scared lol

For hats, a cut out BG is sometimes a good trick, to chop hair that sticks out ;) It doesn't always work if the hair is really big, but it might make a few others work :D
