My boyfriend and I are going to a concert on my birthday, in the city we'll be living in. We move on Thursday, so it's going to be a hectic, but good week.

My family does as much food as possible lol. We do turkey, ham, and kielbasa, normally. Sometimes, if it's going to be small, we save the ham for Christmas. My family are big on food during the holidays.

Not to keep talking about this dumb place, but I got home and about an hour later, someone asked me to work for them today (tomorrow at the time). I said no, I couldn't, and today someone else texted me about coming in!!! Ugh. I also think it's weird people text about it all the time? Like, it seems weird the director doesn't call/do the contacting if they need coverage? I don't think she even knew I was supposed to work yesterday because she seemed surprised to see me there, and that makes me a bit uncomfortable. To jump in on the curling convo: The Squids in Splatoon 2 sometimes use curling bombs LOL That's awesome you get to go to a concert in the new city! I didn't realize your birthday was so soon!

Geeeez that's so strange. It sounds like everyone there either hate being there, so doesn't think they'll get fired if they miss a lot. We still need to play Splatoon together! Our Switch is packed up now, but maybe sometime this weekend if we're both available?

I'm not super good, I just really like playing haha. Some days I feel invincible and I'll take out like 10 people in a match; then the next day I just get splatted over and over and I lose every game. xD Good thing you get points regardless if your team wins or not.

I'm like that, too! Thought I'm still kind of adjusting to the controls, honestly. lol. I use the motion sensor and it works like most of the time for me, but then sometimes I get the camera all sorts of messed up and forget how to reset it for a minute haha. Yeah, it is nice, though I feel leveling up feels like it takes forever sometimes. I wanted to get to level 10 last night and it felt like I was slow creeping towards it but would never get there.

OMG YES, leveling up is soooo sloooow. Have you tried the Salmon Run or solo mission with Marie? I like both of them quite a bit.

I haven't! I should check them out. I'll probably be playing a lot of Overwatch the next few weeks because it's the Halloween event!

I got too caught up in work. My previous work was too hectic that I was working even during Saturdays. I changed work near the end of June and I've been settling down nicely. I actually enjoy working now and don't dread waking up every morning to work (which is good). I'm ok now with my life, hopefully I get to be active again.

Yo! I'm okay. Managed to wake up at an ungodly hour this morning again. Not sure whether I'll sleep or stay awake haha. If I don't reply within 3 hours, that means my body has chosen to sleep. Same old except I have work now. It's 8am-6pm usually (8pm-6am Subeta time) so I won't be around during those times (except for lunch break probably). How are you?
