Hahaha we have most of it packed already, thankfully. We're moving to Columbus, Ohio. It's pretty big! I'll be learning how to take public transportation for the first time because neither of us drive. Plus the traffic is crazy there so I wouldn't want to anyway lol Luckily my boyfriend's brother said he'll help us move so it won't just be us and my mom trying to lug everything up the stairs. My boyfriend is lovely, but neither of us are very strong. xD

Oh, that's good! Such initiative! Oh, that is pretty big, but very exciting! And ooh, public transportation. My only experience with that is taking the buses at university. And yeah, traffic can get pretty crazy. At least you won't have to pay for gas, haha! And that's nice of him to offer to help, the more the merrier! And I totally get that feeling, I have trouble lifting some things at work enough as it is. ^^

And my boss is nice enough to buy all of her employees either a parking pass or bus pass every month, so that saves me $65 a month! Plus my job is only 0.8 miles from our apartment, so I can walk if I want to. What kind of work do you do?

I'm not sure if some are more rare than others, but there's one in particular I've been trying to get for years and no luck. I WAAAANNT ITTTT. Even though I'm not even sure how well I'd be able to work with it lol I can't remember if they came out with new ones last year or not. I'm sorry my memory is so bad!

I really wanted the one skin from Survival & don't use it too much but have 2 HAs with it, so I understand wanting one that isn't necessarily easy to work with.

I think I just want all of the skins haha. I never thought I would use the eyeball one, but I liked what I did with it. I tend to forget the skins exist sometimes. I like the pumpkin skin, but I'm not sure I'll even use it this month.

Josh and I picked out a couch tonight! It took a while because we have different tastes. My mom is getting it for us as an early Christmas present, so we really appreciate that. I also got two new pairs of comfy shoes to wear to work because they were on sale. I feel so anxious every time we spend money, even though I know we're good.

I forget about skins a lot, too! I only have 3 thought lol. But having them all would be nice, so then you have the chance of using it!

Aw, that's really sweet of her! What kind of couch did you go with? And good shoes are important! That was one of the things I struggled with when teaching -- I couldn't wear sneakers, but I couldn't find shoes with good support that were also cute and professional so I ended up using inserts a lot. Yeah, spending money makes me nervous, too! Even when I know I'm spending it wisely or whatever.

It's a soft, brown, 3 seater couch. The material is really soft and the so are the cushions. I could easily nap on it haha. That was always my struggle with student teaching! Professional looking shoes are almost never comfortable for long periods of time. Luckily these are both cute and comfy, and weather appropriate. I would just wear my sneakers all the time since I'll be with preschool, but they look too bulky with leggings, imo, and I plant to wear leggings and long shirts a lot for comfort. Getting up and down with the kids isn't very fun in jeans lol

Haha, a good napping couch is important! I think it's smart to get neutral colored couches because then you can easily change the color scheme of stuff later on if you wanted? Yeah, they can look bulky with leggings! And sometimes, sneakers rub the back of my ankles weird if I'm not wearing high socks and sometimes that looks weird with leggings lol.

I have a handful of CW items that I really like but never seem to use. I need to make myself let go lol. I think I'm going to try to take a step back from CW buying. Idk how well it will go, but I would rather not have the stress of trying to keep up with all of it right now.

Exactly! We wanted a neutral couch so we can decorate however we want. I think we're still going with Mexican culture themes, with the bright colors. We're going to work on learning more about Josh's heritage since he doesn't really know much at all. I'm really looking forward to it. :)

CWs seem like a whole other world on Subeta! It might be smart, too, as you adjust to your new job and having your own place and everything.

That's what I'm hoping for! My sister lives in El Paso, which is like 30 minutes from the Mexican border. She said she'll keep her eyes open for neat authentic Mexican stuff we might like.

It's been alright. I told that dumb daycare place I could sub if they needed me because I needed some sort of income and I figured getting a little bit of money here and there from them wouldn't hurt, but I've been dreading it all weekend honestly. It makes me sure I made the right decision to not stay there. It's not just a 'ugh I don't want to work' sort of dread but like an anxiety/panic-inducing dread feeling. I wish I hadn't told them I could sub, honestly. But I just gotta get through tomorrow. I just know people are going to ask if I can sub later (two people asked me last week and I got back to one of them & told them I couldn't) and I'm going to tell them I'm helping taking care of my grandma (which is true).

She doesn't like it a lot, but she doesn't hate it. She doesn't like the heat or the fact that they're practically in a green-free area with sandstorms lol. I didn't like it there when I visited last October. Everything was tan and colorless.

I can totally understand the panic/anxiety dread of not wanting to go to a job. I had that exact feeling when I worked at the daycare 2 years ago. I hated being there, and I had so much anxiety about going back when I was home. After tomorrow, I think I would just tell them you're getting a different job or something. I know lying isn't great, but I wouldn't want the anxiety of them contacting me anymore.

OH, yeah, that'd be weird. I like having greenery and seasons. Idk what the weather is like there, but I was surprised I didn't mind California's heat when I visited. It was 100+ every day but it wasn't muggy like it gets here so that was sort of nice.

I think you're right. I do have an interview at a department store, which I think I could enjoy? At least temporarily. I'd get a discount lol. And it's not especially busy. It probably gets busier for the holidays but I've never seen more than a couple cars parked outside. [edit]i didn't even get there yet for the day and someone texted me saying they were checking to make sure I was covering their shift but I don't remember telling them I could?? Like I remember her mentioning she might need someone but I never said I could and I was never told a date or anything. Ugh. Muggy heat is the absolute worst! It's been raining here a lot the past few days, and it's also grossly muggy. I just put my hair in a ponytail everyday because I know it would be a hot mess in this weather lol Oh yay! What department store is it? I worked at Big Lots for about 8 months and it was pretty chill. I enjoyed it for the most part. Blehhhh yeah I would disconnect with them as soon as you can. They sound like an unorganized place, and you shouldn't have to deal with that.
