I've been watching a show on Netflix called Containment. It's about a virus that takes over a city, so far with a 100% mortality rate. It's actually pretty good!

Doing well! Going back to oxford in two days and then back to class :( But the holidays have been fun!

2016 was a terrible year for the world, but actually, for me personally it was a pretty good one, so I feel conflicted.

Exactly. I'm much happier at work, and not living in the US I'm fairly insulated, realistically. My hopes are very low, so I don't think it'll take much for them to be surpassed. But you're right, NY is a good time to put him aside and celebrate .

Yes and no. I'm sad to be leaving home and I don't want to get back to work (lol). But I do enjoy oxford a lot. Once I'm there I'll be glad to be back ^^ Right now I'm in the packing phase and I HATE PACKING.

Hello! How was everyone's NY? Any exciting resolutions? Josh and I stayed in, ordered a pizza, drank sparkling cider, played Animal Crossing, and watched Steven Universe. :) It was really relaxing. One of my biggest resolutions is minimalizing and getting rid of stuff I don't really need or want. Surrounding myself in stuff isn't making me happy. So I'm going to work towards spending more on experiences rather than more stuff. :)

I can totally understand that! I've moved so many times in my life, I don't much mind the packing thing anymore. Haha I'm more reluctant against unpacking. I get so overwhelmed and I don't know where to put everything. xD
