Hello :) Thought I'd drop in and say hi. Talking of growing things in small spaces... One of my friends got me a bulb in a lovely plant pot for my birthday back in October. It's sat on my kitchen window sill for a couple of months and in the last few weeks it shot up and bloomed into a gorgeous plant. It's on it's way out now so I need to cut it back - but it's amazing how quickly things can grow if they're in the right place :)

and that can be a nightmare in itself, trying to figure out which is best out of what's affordable - it'd be so much easier if companies just gave one option at a set price ;)

ROFLMAO thankfully Gran & Grandad like broad beans and runner beans as well ;) Last year we gave a few handfulls of runner beans to the neighbours when we had a few more than we could eat that week ;)

almost everyone on the allotment site has some strawberry plants from me now laughs I ended up with a lot more than I needed ;) And there's always someone wanting to do a swap if you've got too many beans and they have too many of something else ;)
