Awww at having to get the stuff from the vets then getting caught in traffic :( But, at least you got the plant stuff you were after :D

I dunno how long the bags will last (I struggled to get the raw edges finished off so it'll fray like crazy :P), but so far they seem to work really well :D

nods I only used about a quarter of the fabric, so there's plenty of opportunity to work on another few that might have better finished edges (using a thinner needle too :P) ;) I zigzagged some ribbon onto the seam allowances so it'll be interesting to see how that holds up ;)

exactly lol. I had a $25 gift card for there, so I "bought" a wee pony tail palm bonsai and 3 air plants. I had to re do both fish tanks. the 10 gal wound up having 3 plants die, so two are doing well after being repotted and I bought 5 air plants for that. And I noticed I have fruit flies in the 5 gallon so I dumped all the subtrait out and put in air plants for that too. Repoted those three. The store also had a promotion that anyone in the "play in the dirt" club which is how I got the gift card, can pick from a pile of 3 things...and two of those three were plants. So I got mum a fern.

haha thats ironic for you. What a brat lmao. Bad RP Paddy. aww thanks :D He's gonna have it as a fixture in his HAs. I have been at it for 6 and 1/2 hours—not kidding. Oh my goodness, lemme tell you. So I go to Pike’s nursery, and show them the money tree leaf and inquire as to why its this weird colour? I mean its been doing fine and all of a sudden a few branches are odd brown/yellow. She said it wasn’t infested and likely a nutrition problem. And asked if I was using Miracle grow, which I was. She facepalmed. Its really bad for most plants apparently. Too much nitrates in the soil and especially bad for ferns/tropical plants. SO she said I should take it out and replant it with new soil and advised I do the same for ALL my plants—this could be why I’ve lost several plants. SO after I get back at from that, I planted all the strawberry bushes (8) and repotted every single houseplant in the non-cacti/succulent category. So that was about 60 plants in total (counting strawberries) my hands are so dry and chapped from all the washing and dirt. Back is SCREAMING and I’m dead on my feet. But bonus is one got rid of all the gnats lmao.. And TWO they apparently, still had that promotion going on where you buy something and get a freebie from their cart, so I got a second free fern lmao.

whoa, I wouldn't have thought of that! I just use basic houseplant compost for the indoor ones, and a mix of multi-purpose compost, grit sand (for drainage), top soil and homemade compost for the strawberries ;) Hopefully though that'll resolve your problem with the plants dying off :D has my toes crossed

sounds like a nice way to spend tomorrow :D Nothing much for this weekend for me - I spent a while holding some carrot for Sparky to eat this morning (he has a small piece peeled off, so you have to hold it for him), which he nibbled the very end of :) He's getting the hang of that faster than Sid did ;) But this afternoon will be a lazy one I think ;)

I liked to watch my grandmother knit and she had a brand called Madelinetosh I thing, had a small ribbon on it, and played decently, small stuff usually.

I love the ha today. that bg looks surprisingly perfect with the breezy bg on top and the dress looks fantastic.
Yeah we never mixed really, though we have some peat moss. Hopefully this new blend will be better. The strawberries I added some mushroom compost and an organic root booster to the mix. I planted them in pots on our deck.
