:D nods we've been taking it in turns to sit and chirp to him - he hadn't gone over to the seed hopper, so me & mum put a piece of millet in the cage.... since then, he's been pecking at his reflection on the plastic cage base (o.O) and has gone to the seed hopper. Mum's just washed her hands and nearly jumped out of her skin when he started chirping loudly at the water laughs

hehe that stage on yours doesn't look too terrible - it just reminds me of the Simpsons when Homer got in their swimming pool and thought the "blob" had got him (they hadn't put any chlorine in the water) 😇

hehe definitely a lot of energy - Mum's getting him to chirp back to her while she's doing the ironing, but he's been all over the cage, on every perch at least 5 times ;)

When we put the light out, he went onto his swing ready for bed - so we covered the cage over earlier than normal, seeing as he was sleepy ;) He was quite laid back this morning too.... but I think once he settles in, he'll be up and chirping a lot earlier ;)

he managed to 'break' the swing last night - he leant too far over, so the entire perch moved around.... after that, he slept on the top perch instead, and has been sulking all morning so far (even though the swing is now sorted out, I think it freaked him out a bit!) ;)
