Now I'm envious XD I have yet to encounter a dhiny via the SOS method.I find this new mechanic fun, I only that that some 'mons are exclusively catchable via SOS. Even more so, when there has to be a specific weather condition around >-<
I can't wait for Pokebank to update though, I have several Pokemon on my X that I want to transfer to Moon.
You would need a 3DS and you can decide to either buy the copy in astore ir download it via the Nintendo e-shop.

oh i dont have that and probably wont get one...
Meh. You might get lucky next year though, I'm pretty sure that once they release the Nintendo Switch, the 3DS might drop a bit in price.

Probably may be my only shiny, but who knows. I may be lucky again. XD I still find the mechanic annoying sometimes when trying to catch 'Mons, but also helpful for training, so I've got adrenaline orbs and stuff to keep it going. I find that lowering the health triggers the SOS for the most part though, and that can be hard when the 'mons I'm training are getting stronger so they one hit KO easily. They can't all learn False Swipe, so I just have to be careful, and use adrenaline orbs. I don't really need the False Swipe TM anyway, because my Snorlax already knows Hold Back, which is the same move :P But yes, I do find it annoying when certain mons can only be got via the SOS mechanic, particularly female Salandits (aka COMBEE 2.0), and Goomies. It NEVER has rained so far in my play of Moon, except during the water trial, but that was scripted so I dunno if that even counts.
I hope Pokebank does, one day I'll be able to use it, but I have a lot of previous games to catch up on, since it's been a while for me. I'm glad to be back into Pokemon though!
The female Salandits should sometimes appear without the need to trigger an SOS I think. Still, it took me ages to find out my male Salandit won't evolve ...

I was lucky to know about that ahead of time from all the people online complaining about needing female Salandits and how this was Combee all over again. Lol. Still haven't found one yet.
Funny thing is, I traded for a female Sandit through the GTS and as soon as I had it, I encounter a wild female Sandit. I was like: Really -.-? Why do you hate me so much, game?

Stuff like that happens to me ALL the time. I have a feeling that I'll successfully catch a Skarmory or a Sableye before I get one via GTS...but I dunno. They think they're legendaries, those things.
I'm sorry about your eyes..
A number of things could happen but most of the times because of their bond, most Warders don't last very long if their Aes Sedai dies. As far as I know it doesn't happen very often, but I think it's a lot like stilling / gentling they just lose interest in living and stuff like that.
On of us! One of us!! I'm on book 5, has read it but I think she's in the same boat as you, it's been a while.
Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan.

Neither can I! Lol! Hello!
Skarmory I found a lot :3 Sableye was difficult though. As this is another one of those only obtainable by SOS.

I have no trouble finding Skarmory, I JUST. CAN'T. CATCH. IT. Destroyed all 30 Ultra Balls I had on hand. It thinks it's Tapu Koko or something. Sableye gave me the same trouble, but it was a little bit easier. I have luck getting it via SOS because that's what the Carbinks in Ten Carat Hill summon most of the time.

Don't get me started on the Kapu Things. I used my Master Ball on one of them, as I was starting to get frustrated. Also wow, didn't know Skarmory is this hard to catch

isnt he the one that wrote the spellsong cycle?
Haha! Yes! Same!
Yep, that's how bad Skarmory is for me. I still can't get one.
You know, I wonder just how well adrenaline orbs work, when the Pokemon will always call for help after it's had some health lowered. Do I really even need them?
I think it helps with getting Pokemon to answer the call, but I'm not sure. Every Shiny hunting tutorial recommends using the orbs however.

To me it just kind of seems like a placebo effect. The call rates for me are usually the same with or without it, since lowering health 100% triggers it (okay more like 99%, since some mons actually CAN'T call for help looks at Sableye) And then with or without the orb sometimes there's a rare occasion where they don't summon allies.
I haven't experiemented enough with it to make any observations. I'm waiting with actual shiny hunting until my Dex is complete.
