Yea. I have about 6 saved messages from her. I always seemed to click save instead of delete after listening to them. I regret that dad never called and have message from him. IF I can figure out where I placed my last phone, I did a recording of the old house message that was him. Sadly it is a generic message, but it is his voice. Some day I MAY get some copies of old home movies tho. I highly doubt anyone in my family will think to bring them to a place and turn into DVD to share with the rest of us.

You should get a crockpot. They range in various sizes, so you could get one for just yourself or ones that will feed a lot of people. We have a small one that will feed 2 people comfortably and then the one I used today feeds probably up to 4 people. I used to have a huge one that could feed a lot of people, but my dad accidentally burnt the cord haha.

Working with other people sucks! My one job I swear the others leave the work for me. And the other job I swear that everyone are just idiots. I am starting to wonder if it is me tho. head desk ya know, after spending a year working for a toxic bitch and her company back in 2012 and 2013, I learned a lot about working and of course a lot about people in general. Oddly enough the bitch was my husbands ex-wife and couldn't get past the fact she couldn't have him nor did he want her. Then there's the little fact she fucked up his life, so yeah, tell me again why he would want to be with her? I mean for fucks sake why would he even want to be her friend and try to help her build her company (actually, from my understanding she did jack - aside from stealing clients from a former company she worked for while her husband put the money aside for what she has now). Anyway, I still get twinges of remorse for busting my ass for such a spiteful bitch. Who plays the victim card when she's bored. Funny enough I never thought of her as a bitch prior to her having her brothers gang up on me while she reportedly was away. And it was all for something she agreed on and we had already done for her company. I don't wish her company success but the only reason it's still standing is because it is government funded.

Anyway, yeah, there is always someone who is bored or bitter slithering around looking to stir the pot in the office. Best to avoid them when they get in their "lets fuck someones week, month or ya know job up" moods if at all possible.

And lastly, that lesson taught me to never give my all anywhere I work. Being taken for granted, bending over backwards trying to do right and or help build someone else up (even more so when they aren't appreciative, which, most aren't) is not my cup of tea. No thank you. I am a firm believer that the stress from the job is partly responsible for my thyroid issues. Not entirely but partly.

YAY book arrival. I LOVE when I order a new book and it arrives in the mail. Its a great feeling. As I said that is probably how I am going to get book 2 in some of the series that I have books 1 and 3 for. LOL Cheaper on Amazon.

I think that happens when people are being petty and crap at work. You just get to the "I don't give a crap" state. My one job has me that way. There is this couple that work on my shift, he is manager, she is a cashier. The store allows them to work the same shift and everything. Sooo she gets special treatment. You turn around half the time and she is gone and have no clue where the hell she went to. You can't tell him cus he won't do a thing about it. PLUS I learned the other day that she flipped out cus she saw him looking at another girl and yelled at him and marched off the floor. Im sorry right there should have been instant you guys can't work same shift/same area of the store together any more. BUT I have gotten to the whatever, ignore them and just do whatever the hell I want. Im over it. I hope things mellow out after some time.

mhm. It was something alright and I'm sure she still randomly chokes on the words I left her with. Heh. And her current husband or who knows what he is now to her - all those years ago helped her build the company up. She operates a home health care business. I only met the man (her husband) once or twice and she made him out to be some kind of maniac who hoarded gas masks, bullet proof vests and who knows what else... Granted, he was probably somewhat decent and wouldn't put up with her shit so she had to go and boohoo about it cause she didn't want to play house with him anymore, lol.

I did however let it all out, all the bs I heard straight from her mouth or experienced first hand when I filed for my unemployment.

The last straw for me was that of her brothers bullying (which by the way one of them didn't even work for her yet - as far as I knew) about the event that had long come and gone. And let me not forget I spent a good deal of the last few months prior fighting to keep my job because she hired some ass-hat who kept taking everyone's job but he couldn't do the one she gave him - bring in Veterans. So as you can imagine the heifer was no where to be seen when I was cornered in an office to be ambushed and bullied buy three men, one of which had no ground to even be talking any business to me in the first place. When I think about it, I should have sued her ass for that because her HR department did jack shit when I went to them after it happened. And to make matters worse I was there to do a Halloween party for the clients the next day, which I didn't even want to return to do because I didn't want to look at any of them. When we returned home she knew what had happened, and played it off like she hadn't a clue.

The humor in it all is that she fired me via email. Not by video chat or even by phone (seeing as the location is a good four hours away from me). And that was because she asked me to do something (plan a meal for her clients and workers and actives for Thanksgiving), I did it and it pissed her off.

Remember, she asked me to call around and find out if there were any places she could rent for her clients and workers for Thanksgiving to give them a get together. I did. Gave her the detailed price quotes. She didn't like that I was on top of it so she asked me to try alternatives, I did and she didn't like that either. Granted the whole time she was planning this get together behind my back (potluck Thanksgiving) because I called the office and a coworker slipped, lmao. Anyway, I didn't let on that she was toying with me, I just kept swinging each time she threw something at me. Until, I called her out for it because it was slowly and surely starting to get tiring to be toyed with and instead of being professional she just said you're fired, because I called her out on her shit, lol. Mind you I wasn't being rude or unprofessional about it, I was just doing my job and I wanted to know what it was she was doing (or what she thought she was going to do... string me along?). Guess she didn't like me blinding her with the truth, oh well.

After I saw the email, I smirked and quickly replied with a great big Thank You and the Walmart slogan with the smiley face. Right along with a quick memo letting her know that I looked up to her as a woman in-charge in the workforce and that she had pretty much just fucked herself of that image. She must have rolled in that sentence for a good while because when she called to start shit (fire) my husband she was murmuring that a good few times over. He and I laughed. We still do, when it comes up because it must suck to be such a miserable human being who wallows in their woe is me BS just to turn people on each other.

I literally don't understand the mentality behind the behavior. All I can come up with is that people who do that to others around them either hate themselves so much that they project it or they're bored. Of course, I might be wrong because I seriously can't see myself just waking up one day with the attitude of ruining another persons path out of sheer boredom or hatred. My mind nor heart doesn't work like that.
