Exactly. Its like child us had no clue of weather and temperatures and nothing phased us. Adult us is like yea no...like my blankies and warmth. Screw going out.

Yes especially cuddling with blankies. Oh my gosh now I wonder when I switched from wanting to go outside all the time into never wanting to leave the house ever. 😝

I have slowly become a hermit. I only go out to go to work really. Its kinda depressing.

I should go hide and cuddle with my blankets now.

Think I gonna do the same. Being a hermit is better for me. I don't much like going out, makes me anxious.

I know like 80% of body heat escapes through your head and feet, while I have no problem with wool socks, I hate wearing hatsshakes curlsits stupid but my hair is one of my best features and I do have a streak of vanity about it. TBH the last time I went back, it was late October and I was sick for days, this time I'm going in summer.

Was looking for ASP chat and couldn't find it. Looks like most of the group is here. Just wanted to say hi. I see some kindred people above. All for staying in under a blanket, it's the best. I saw the coolest thing last night. a company was advertising sweatpants like pants with footies. Add a blanket, cup of hot cocoa, and a good book and it doesn't get better then that.

The whole thing with Flamingo and her feathers was for fashion!!! and I thought she was a rare black flamingo and we needed the feathers. BUT she just dyed her feathers that color...so we gave up.

Im thinking either late spring or early summer, I'm almost capped out on my vacay time but figure 2 weeks should see me well-rested and keep my boss worried that I may not come back

We had a craft project we needed the feathers for. But gave up.

That was indeed Lovecraft. See once upon a time when my feathers were black, she thought it was a natural black and wanted to pluck them. Then she learned I'm just your average pink bird, so she calmed down. :)

I've been hermit today as well. I almost don't even want to get out of bed at all. Think I may go make some food, then hop back in bed and read for awhile.

Became one with the bed. That seems the best idea for me too.

I <3 bed. If I could I'd stay here forever and never leave. Under blankies with my laptop and books and coffee.
