I didn't get it to work, but the kids enjoyed the telling of my trials, then we made Mr. Squishy (or Ms Squishy) stuffing potato starch into unblown balloons. Tomorrow going to give the first graders some uncooked (microwaved) tapioca pearls to let them stuff the balloons.

: Kids these days have been making ''slime" from a recipe found on the internet that uses 'white glue.' It's been all the rage. I don't know how to make it myself, but I figure if a 7th grader can make it without burning down the house, then any adult can make it. It's very tactile and soothing for busy children. "Gak," made with fine corn starch ( the thickening agent ) and water, is also very interesting to first-graders because it is a non-Newtonian fluid. Both these can be be colored with vegetable dye and I even read somewhere that they can be lightly scented with rose water, or lavender water. It sounds like you're holding their attention at least.

You can also make clear slime with the Elmer's clear glue and add color and glitter or confetti to it.

At least I'm not the only one! I ended up keeping the Omen Islands open in a tab and just kept going back and forth between that and Port Plunder every few minutes whenever I was online.

holy bananas was that your fishing trip or just one you saw online that's incredible seeing a shark like that... You do well getting sharks I guess I can only catch little tiny fish if at all. Mine would look like bait compared to yours hahaha

The fishing trip that was yesterday. Caught fresh bait fish and used that. Its tail cut thru the line. Glad he got away really altho a Thresher is suppose to be really nice eating.

I had never seen one before. Seeing him jump was awesome.

, I only went deep sea fishing once out of Florida and it was wonderful! Would love to go again.. Saw one shark and that was it but caught some small fish that were good to eat. :)
