College students arent excused from jury duty? They do here.

Its 81f here. I am making some Egyptian food, my hubby taught me. I am sauting garlic and onion, then going to add tomato sauce, and beef that I cubed and boiled with onion, salt and pepper until beef is medium done. I let them simmer and then add any frozen vegetables I like. When this done, you can put it on top of cooked rice.

So do you have the outfit on that goes with the eye patch, and speak like a pirate. I know your relieve to have the eye surgery over, just walk carefully since your used to seeing things with both eyes.

I'm in Canada :( but I don't know if it'll be the same as in the US? When I was doing the questionnaire I stated that I am a student, but they want me to do jury duty anyways.

They did say that if you cannot go due to various reasons including schooling to write them, and since I have exams and going on vacation at around that time period I'm going to write them to be excused/deferred.

you get gray hair with several high lift bleaching and then this new silver gray dye..Go figure right haha..It looks great short on a cute young thing though..I find a few here n there in my own hair yikes but they are still hard to see but they are pure white so I can still find them and pull them out I have really thick dark dark brown long hair

Send them your college schedule of classes, especially if you have some near or at the time of scheduled jury duty, dont mention the holiday unless you can enclose non refundable airline tickets. Here in the US if a college student has classes during the schedule jury duty appearance, their class schedule is good enough. College and medical students are exempt. Oh when you send the paper work, send it so someone has to sign for it received through the mail ,and a tracking number. This way they cant say, they didnt get it and you can track it online until it gets to the court house. Plus you have proof you sent it, that way your protected and have proof you sent it and they received it. Always do this with important papers you send anywhere.

Yes I'm going to attach my exam schedule... do I need to attach my class schedule too? Oh, it also says if you're going to be off for vacation to write them :) so i feel like I should include that, especially going back for 3 and a half months lol.

glad you came through it alright...a doc i worked with at the urgent care said in surgery section of his schooling they taught you to never say "oops" but practice a catch phrase like.."there now" so if you hear that beware hahahaha

: I don't cook, but that sounds so yummy. Welly makes something he calls "pepper steak" that is served over rice. He starts with thinly sliced lean flat steak or London-broil and marinates them in worcestershire/red wine for several hours. He drains the meat, sautes it then adds garlic, thinly sliced onions, and bell peppers ( red, orange, yellow and green) He adds a hoisen sauce at the end, just before serving. When we can get pineapple or mango, he sometimes adds that in at the end also. Soooooo good. If I am brave, I offer to chop, but I am deathly afraid of the stove, oven, sink, root cellar, pantry, whisk and turnip twaddler.

Weasel paws might have trouble in the kitchen holding utensils, and watching their tails dont get near the chopping board. Welly sounds like a good cook/chef.

Our little paws are pretty good with knives. Tails can be restrained with a tail-net or a tail-sling for protection in the Industrial or commercial kitchens...The tail-thong went out of fashion a long time ago...thank the Maker...

'Bout the time you posted -I- was in a coma, they were still going strong. I've learned not to watch them when they're doing that. XD I just keep my ears open for crashes and angry kitty voices. Oh and silence...you know something naughty is happening when there's no noise at all.

Update for today: Saw my pulmonologist yesterday, he gave me two new inhalers. One of them seems to open my chest up a lot. one of them feels wonderful. The other didn't seem to do a thing, that I could tell anyway. Then, My eyes started to hurt three days ago. Saw my Family Doctor today, I have a huge sty, is on the top/center of my eye. He gave me drops that made my eye feel lovely, almost numbed it a bit. Talked to the Sleep Center, They are working on setting up a sleep study for me. No news yet on the kidney ultrasound, waiting on an appointment.

Grabbed Half a Subway for dinner, it was so good. Watching NCIS and then NCIS New Orleans next. Tossing snowballs here and there... it does seem to take a lot to get an achievement, nothing has popped up yet for me.

Feeling prett good, just tired from my errands/outings today. Didn't get up till 2pm, here it is 7:30pm and I could so go to bed, but going to try to stay awake. Think that about covers it. LoL Huggies <3

Thought I was doing real good and went to get a large glass of water holding the glass and wondering why the running faucet wasn't filling it up blushes Worked fine when I moved the glass actually UNDER the water :)
