1. Do you prefer to be called by your username or another name? Have you had any other usernames prior to this one? Nah, ya’ll can call me Demi. I’ve been Vulgar and Lexa in the past.

2. What are your interests on Subeta? Love to restock, battle, train, and do art/stories for my pets. I love collecting things, as well, but I’m not serious about it really.

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the group? Currently I’m online daily and do look forward to being active within a group and getting to know some more active users. I do sometimes take small breaks when life gets crazy, but I’ve been pretty active over the 13ish years I’ve been on the site.

4. Why are you interested in joining Kindred Spirits? Are you currently in any other groups? I’m not currently in any other groups, but I’m interested in joining to make some friends, primarily. My time on subeta is generally pretty lonely, so I’d really like to change that.

5. Tell us a bit about you! Uhhh HI I’m Demi and I’m a small business owner, plant mom, and artist in southern Massachusetts, USA. I’m a huge Pokémon nerd with shared interests in music, books, pop culture, and the natural world. I do a lot of freelance art for clients in the furry community, which is actually what helped me to find Subeta!

I love Pokemon :)

Due to my lack of hand control I can't play many games. But Pokemon mostly being turn based means I can =D

I'm currently working on Pokemon Ultra Moon :)

Ultra moon is such a great game; my cousin and I played that one together recently and it reminded me that it just has such an awesome environment and beautiful story. What’s your team like? What are your favorite pokes? :D

I love the game mechanics of Moon and Ultra Moon. As I love to grind, the Experience Share really takes time off my game. Recently got my Roto to call me Master :)

I rotate my team depending on the trial/gym. I do my best to keep all my Pokemon that I want to battle with near the same level. So I don't have one team...though I always have an Eevee or two on it. My favorite Pokemon is Articuno and my close second is all the Eevees.

I have two different t-shirts that show all the Eeveelutions :)

Bring on the zombies. I'm ready!

Also it's snowing. Weren't supposed to get any snow until tomorrow but it's snowing now. Ain't weather fun.

Hiya. Have to say we aren't quite as active a group as we used to be. Lots of more rl stuff going for most of our members so it can be really quiet sometimes. Ultra moon is such a good and special game to me. I visited Hawaii 2 or so years after first playing and the game and the islands were so similar, it made me so happy. Even the malasada commercials on tv were similar.

Had two doctor appointments today. Standard eye appointment, my eyes are healthy and I don't need a new prescription. Saw my GP about my ears hurting and get a heat pack and relaxation exercise regime.

how are you doing?

Have spent the past year working hard on my diet to be more healthy still. The results have me very happy with my progress. And I have started taking Grape Seed Extract but only 200mg per day and a 5oz glass of white wine a couple of times a week after checking that it was OK to take with my meds. The cardiologist I saw changed me to a med I would not and will not take so thankfully my new doctor did a 5 panel blood test and all my numbers are in the range they like to see. The vertigo is still here off and on can always tell when I try to get up. Hope you don't need to go on insulin.

It is 10cc 1x daily now, and next week will be 15cc, and after that will be 20cc. I have a pen and short fine needles, and pleased to say it really doesn't hurt at all. She said when my numbers come down I will be weaned off the diabetic meds (still have to take the others of course) and though it isn't likely I might eventually not have to take the insulin either. Though who knows.

Hooray! You sound like you are doing really well, except the nasty vertigo. Oh I hate that! Major sympathy.
