New masks - the stick ones will be useful and not in the "I hate restocking" shop by the looks of it. and the Zentu ones are lovely. And there are crystal shard masks & Ziaran crests... whispers Plot...?

Dancing has started and I'll be not around Saturday at all and off and on for Fri and Sunday so will see.

I guess we could try to be partners in spring (or summer or ...) vault cleaning when we have some time. We could have a friendly contest to see who can clean up the most pages in a day or something like that. :-)

Yes, having kids often results in needing new games or game components. On the other hand, I have one or two games that needed to be replaced just from so much use. If we really love a game that looks like it might wear, I sometimes grab a second copy while they're still less expensive.

Hope your husband made it home without issues this time around. Does he have to travel often?

How did the big bake sale go. Sure hope Spidey was delicious.

- I added a couple of inexpensive scrolls at first - Volcanus Fury (attack) and Soothing Current (healing) and they made a really big difference. I have not begun to start figuring it all out yet, but am now fortunate enough to have an Aftershocks Scroll and one Cobalt Eternal Scroll which have made another big difference. You seem to have an interesting assortment. Do you have any idea how much healing your Champion Scroll does, and whether it's a flat amount or a percent? My biggest issue with scrolls is that I can't begin to figure out which ones are cost effective for multiple tiers. Oh well, at least it gives me something to keep working on when I spend time battling. :-)

It can be a bit depressing when you don't hear back from people, but you have to try and keep on keeping positive.

Honestly, I think I have hoarding tendencies, so I am not sure how well that would go! xD

But I would consider some baking or alchemy making tag-team stuff to try and boost my level. Have to be when nothing new is released though as the prices will get silly at that point.

Vintage games do need a little protection from little fingers! We have a vintage copy of Cluedo - not first edition, but around 50s/60s, it's not in super condition, but no kids allowed on that one. I think our 'played to destruction' game was Sushi Go - the cards are all scrached and battered. New set of that one at some point.

Yeah, he is part of a tech support/business services team for a company with properties around the UK - and the software company they work with is in Germany, so there is a far bit of gallivanting about. Though he's annoyed again after a coach backed into his car and scraped the back bumper! We've had enough vehicle traumas for this year, thank you.

Bake sale was fine, the cup cakes went, no problem. My sister had a baking trauma, flat (and I mean hardly 2cm tall) cake. Never made the sale, she was too embarrassed. I think her oven's a bit weird, it has two parts and she was using the smaller one, but this is the 2nd or 3rd fail it's had. It seems to have two heat settings, underdone and ON FIRE!

Let's hope the Masq errors improve, dancing is hard going at the moment.

An update on my Aunt for those interested - We went yesterday for her to receive her treatment. It went well, but last night it really seemed to kick in and now she's not feeling well. That was pretty much expected but still hard to see. The doctor said her cancer is advanced unfortunately but didn't mention if that will impact her life span. It's likely they won't know until they see how her body reacts to the treatment. Thanks again for all your support and kind words sharkies. <3

Yes, it is frustrating when you are job hunting and people don't even get back to you. Unfortunately that seems to be the way things work now. Unless a company is ready to interview you, they almost never have the time to tell you anything. Just keep being positive and eventually something good will happen.

I have been doing pretty well with alchemy and would be interested in both that and baking if we can work it so it doesn't take too much extra time. I would love to make progress in both/either. And, yes, definitely not willing to bake (ie burn) ingredients when their prices are hugely expensive. I need to be able to do enough questing to fund the costs as I go.

Almost certainly a good idea to keep the vintage Cluedo away from small ones. (How old are your little ones?) Sushi Go - that looks cute. We have been playing a somewhat more complicated (I think) game with a similar take and pass card mechanic call 7 Wonders and that is relatively quick to play and a lot of fun.

Yes, I can see where that would make for a lot of traveling. And it is annoying to have your car scratched. At least it wasn't more serious and no one got hurt. Still, wishing you no more vehicle trauma.. We really need those cars to just be there and work when we need them without adding extra stuff to our already busy lives.

Ouch - sounds like your sister needs a new oven! Neither of those options works well for baking cakes where you really need fairly good temperature control. Glad the Spidey cupcakes were a success at the sale.

Yes, Subeta is having a bit of new event strain. So hard to run these big response events with new things happening and a small staff. But mostly dancing is going well for me right now. Hope you see the same when you get a chance to take the floor.
