Yeah, a lot of good weapons are old event prizes or achievement prizes or battle loot or stuff like that. Which is cool and all, but I feel like by the time my pet is strong enough to beat the really tough guys without those weapons, I won't even need them at that point.
Ah well, I'll just go at my own pace.
Managed to get my second Choco Lot :D We have spent the day playing Lego Jurasic World and watching Shaun the Sheep.
My top pet is Tier 12 and 1/2 the others are T11. But can't afford any T12 weapons and only have 1 T11. Maybe someday I can get weapons that match the pet's tiers better. But I usually only battle for plots/events or to get special items.

Yeah I mostly battle for events, but I kind of like when I'm finally strong enough to beat some more opponents! It gives a little sense of accomplishment ~
there's not any good tier 12 weapons outside of event prizes and I'm never high up enough to get them. I hope next battle event will be different.
I hope Masquerade starts soon, it's one of my fav Sub holidays because of all the cool stuff in the steam shop. But it gets a bit tiring changing my look/gown every day just so I can wear most of my pretty dresses. :) Hope we have a Shark dancing board. :D And I'm preparing by taking some of the trinkets from last year out of my vault and turning them in at the shop so I'm ready to get the new stuff as soon as it comes out. :) < Please hit me with Icy Snowballs! >

we usually have a shark tank thread for masquerade- we do every holiday <3 and I are having a contest in the ping group's forum for masquerade as well :)
I've got a first post ready to go for whenever the event starts. Hopefully tomorrow! I want to see the new beautiful wearables :)
Great. I don't usually buy much in the lounge especially now that my gourmand pet has the achievement, but the steam shop has such cool stuff usually. Anxious to see what new items they have this year. But I do have to admit that as much as I enjoy Masquerade it can also be exhausting being online constantly whenever I'm home. < Please hit me with Icy Snowballs! > CWs for Sale or Trade https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/shop/24266

I'm hoping it starts soon as well, but if I remember right I thought Masquerade was closer to only a week long. So if that's the case, it probably won't start until closer to next weekend. :c
Subetapedia says Masquerade is "Late-March until start of April" < Please hit me with Icy Snowballs! > CWs for Sale or Trade https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/shop/24266

I know, but the last week is still technically late March. I was just saying what I thought from memory, it's usually around a week or a week and a half or so.
I certainly wouldn't mind it starting earlier or being longer though, since you need a large amount of trinkets to be able to buy everything from the Menagerie shop.
I agree. I thought it was about 10 days, which would be plenty if you can get enough trinkets to buy the items you want. I usually don't buy everything, only the few things I want to get. And I still have some trinkets in my vault from last year because once I get what I want in the shop I start selling the trinkets then when the price goes down I throw them in my vault for the next year. But I don't think I'd like to see it go on too long because it is tiring having to be on constantly dancing. My feet get sore :D

Yeah, I know I'm caught up on all of the things from the Lounge, and I should have all of the books, plushies, etc. from the Menagerie. But I'm trying to catch up on buying all of the wearables, even things I probably won't use. I need more things for the filled wardrobe achievements, so I try to get as many event items as I can to help with that.
I don't even want to think about how many trinkets I'll need. o__o
I'm still also kind of hoping for a little mini-plot or something involving the cyberpunk theme they've been hinting at. Even just having some cyberpunk kind of items in the Menagerie this year would be cool.
splashes back in the Tank
Well, yesterday got stupidly busy, I managed to sneak on for bathhouse and snagged 2x TS items but that was it!
Hope everyone's weekend is going well!
Never fear, I will be stockpiling the cookies. I have a Cake! gallery to fill with desserts, you know! ;)
looks at the images you posted falls over giggling
You are a riot of Spring colours! :)
cheers for Shark Dance Tank preparation-ness Even when you're busy, you do us proud!
Personally, I need no excuse to dress up in real life either, we've currently got a family 'discussion' (as in: no one can make their minds up!) as to whether we're doing 80s theme or sci-fi theme for our next family party...
The bathhouse has been super helpful with the currencies and to be honest, getting a baking kit from there often reminds me to go and make something! As it's often NOT when new stuff is released I'll then grab a few other kits and have a baking blitz.
It is the nature of things that even when you think it's quiet, there is usually something going on!
Certainly worth making sure you are sure when it comes to finances. Errors can make for big headaches further down the line.
I keep thinking I should sort my vault into categories but never get round to it. Organisational laziness, I fear. xD I keep a lot of my baked duplicates in my gallery anyway, so for those at least, it will be easy for pet feeding achievements when I have a proper go at that.
Ticket to Ride has been popular as it's fairly accessible even to non regular gamers - when other friends or family visit for example, so certainly a good one to have in the collection.
I think our friend had a history of her family members being vicious and competitive during her childhood when it came to Monopoly, so she has a low threshold for that game! Only that one though, it's weird. At least she can have a laugh about it.
I'd like to see a copy of Clue to compare the two games! Whodunit - quick googling - looks interesting but is super expensive. Assume it's either 'out of print' or some thing, but might be worth keeping my eye out in the carity/second hand shops.
There's been a lot of Ultimate Vampires and Werewolves going on recently too.
Did you do anything much for the weekend?
The lack of sav options on old games is always annoying my other half! We are really spoiled today with the option to save and lots of space to do so. Old school gaming is hard core gaming!
Yeah, I think with the size of TVs these days you want to be sure that they are at least stable!
Luckily with the latest piece of 'technology', (we got a freebie filter coffee machine from a friend who's upgraded to a new model) it's sturdy and they still make replacement parts for it if need be!
Tested it this weekend, seems good, but I drank way more coffee than normal as it's a big pot.
Decaff, I think! xD
Easy clean surfaces for the bathroom - and kitchen too - can be such a time saver. And less chances for mould to get a grip, unlike paint. Some mould spots are impossible. We had good success with HG Mould Spray which is fairly easy to get in the UK. It's strog, so you have to be careful and ventilate everywhere, but works.
If you find a load of cash under the sofa, time for a treat. If you find freaky lost things - make an art piece using them!
Charity/thrift shopping is great. It's tougher these days in the UK as more of the shops are being run like regular shops - bargains are harder to find, prices are creeping up - but I'll still forage like the best of 'em. Old book smell is still a good one to me. Not the damp or weird smells, just the old paper.
You must have an awesome stash!
I hope your Break is as enjoyable as the leg ouchies will permit. I the bruising heals up a bit, a good night of sleep will probably do you the world of good.
And glad you dodged the germs!
It's annoying to be sick when you're an active person - my other half gets twitchy as he like to mountain bike, so he hates being stuck indoors in 'good biking weather'.
Lucky to catch the TS restock yesterday, but it is tough when there's lots you want and you know you won't be able to get it all! At least that's plenty of tokens in case any special items get released.
Send to Minion Zoo (You have 181 there already) cackles maniacally
Aw, I am so sorry to hear your news. We will all be thinking of you.
Sometimes when things are looking down
Just remember: we'll be around
No matter how much time you need
We'll send you Sharkie love, with speed
And when you're ready to get back
Expect a Mad-Shark-Hug-Attack!
❤
I got all the event posts set over the holiday break when I had time in anticipation of being busy lol. Fortunately I thought ahead!
I haven't forgotten our super secret shark plans for the summer either. I'll go back to that in the next few weeks so we can get that all planned out for June perhaps :)
Now, that's the smart way!
rubs hands together in style of evil mastermind I love it when a Shark plan comes together! xD
- Thanks, we are both excited to see each other, she lives 7 hours away and I try to visit twice a year at least. We'll make the most of it, we always do. :)
Gonna start packing my suitcase tonight because I'm an over-thinker when it comes to packing, lol. I pack everything a few days before and then the morning of add the last stuff I use every day.
- Thank you for the love! Hehe, that's exactly why I love this thread, such an amazing group of people! <3
