Colds are still making the rounds here. At least one teacher is getting a cold at the school I work at, and a few students. I blame the roller coaster temperatures we've had here for the past month and a half. I, luckily, am over my cold, I just have a runny nose in the mornings from walking outside in the cold. Now I'm just hoping I can make it to Spring Break without catching another cold.

Yeah, it was 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' time, took him & work colleagues 2 flights, 1 train, a bus trip and a car. But he made it! And then developed a terrible cold Sunday night. If it's not one thing, it's another...

I end up being the game watcher/rule checker rather than a player! We often have game days though, maybe once every month or two. But there's loads of games between the various gamers, so they try to rotate the game - Reign of Cthulhu Pandemic was the last one.

Yay, the hit it with something guide to technology is stll going strong.

Aside from sometimes looking cold sometimes too much white makes for 'every bit of dirt, dust and scuff' being highly visible, and therefore more high maintenance! Teal or red do sound nice. And if you are able to make a bookcase, that would be an amazing vintage-y project.

Some old fashioned Xmas tree decorations using the old yarns might be a fun thing to do too, the tree could be retro colour themed one year, or do it for a mini tree!

Something to make getting all the zombie skins would be good - staff have been rereleasing things to help folk complete their plushie and beanbag collections and other stuff, so hopefully it will be something they consider. We got plenty of creative ways to help out!

Yeah, the cruise was a fun addition, and opened doors we haven't yet really been through. Still hoping for Lower Ziaran action at the Masq, but if we keep throwing ideas out there, we can inspire the staff, perhaps!

I managed to go out today! -17C (1.4F) knocked the air out of me but I managed to enjoy the sun! We're supposed to get a snow storm tomorrow & Wed... both days have to go out, that'll be interesting to navigate with the walking poles :S

I was supposed to have 2 classes but chose to only do the morning one to avoid overexhausting myself. I also went to the library nearby... returned my DVDs and got more movies yay! Movie night tonight un hun un hun :P

I also was able to clean Gismo's litter, take out the trash, wash dishes, and take a bath. Ok... doesn't sound like a big deal but it's a victory for me :) I've been cooped up almost no movement since Wed afternoon. Felt good to be out of pjs and messy hairdue.

Tomorrow I'm going to my teeth/jaw specialist. She's helping me out on our odessy of trying to get my jaw redone... whole domino effect thing. Tomorrow it's getting molds & xrays done so I can bring them to a dentist that's willing to help with braces. Then it's a burocratic paperwork game... an elephant is eaten one bite at a time as my mother reminds me :)

I'd recommend finding a premade page you kind of like layout wise and then slowly look at the code. Remove part of it and replace with your own code to slowly understand which code mades what to personalize your page.

I made Poukie's page but used very basic coding that's on the interact/forums/sCode Reference page. I used it as an opportunity to better learn/practice coding.

Also, don't do too many changes at a time. When coding doesn't work you have to figure out what the bleep went wrong and it's easy to hit the wrong key or forget to put part of the code. The less changes you make before you verify the outcome, the faster you'll be able to spot the prob and correct it... otherwise it can lead to bigger errors.

My tips are pretty basic so appologies if you already thought/are aware of them... maybe a more seasoned coder has other ideas ;)

Glad he was able to get home although it sounds like quite the adventure in itself & hope he feels better soon. At least you were able to have fun at the party even though you had to change roles ;)

something's fishy... looking at an internet bill and setup/cancellation error stress taking over. the incompetent person might have cheated our full cancellation and had me start an account but I never received an account number. Same address and same name from household is still being charged. meant to deal with tax-housing related stuff tomorrow via blizzard. already wasted money 3 trips last week for this one thing. just an hour ago I could've fallen asleep, this tunnel anxiety's gunna keep me up

That's good advice. :) I'll take a peek at that reference page too. I could also ask my husband who is a computer programmer, but I like being able to figure things out on my own without his help sometimes. :)

I managed to find Quentin the other day, they can be found on any of the levels. The skull is just a single tile like the ghosts, so it's a bit harder to find maybe than some of the other skeletons. My only advice would be to just keep searching, maybe play on hard so you can clear out a wide area of soil to look.

I am SO ready for Masquerade to start, but I feel like it probably won't be for a while still. :(

It's usually only the last week or so of March, so if it does start next week I think it will likely be more towards the end.

My only technique is click around frantically until my hand and arm give up. It does not take long. That is why it will take me the next 2 years to get that dang bug smashing sticker! That game is really painful for me. I played it twice today and only got around 300 both times before the pain started :( I would buy the sticker if it were buyable!

True, we have to be slightly realistic in our expectations! I am hoping for the weekend, as Survival felt super short. We need to max out our dancing time!

Ugh, I hate the bug game too. I've been kind of trying to make myself play it more often recently, but it will probably take a while to get all the way to 500k. I think I'm at about 35k right now.

I've been smacking technology ever since I has a NES. However, there is some technology that I don't smack, like newer gaming systems and tvs. But I have smacked printers and laptops and they seem to start working better rather quickly.

White walls do get dirty rather quickly. It will be a lot of 'fun' to scrub down all the walls of our duplex before we move out. I think there are some spots that won't come out. I'll have to decide if I want to do just teal or just red, or do one of those two colors with white accents so it isn't so much color. If my husband and I could make a vintage looking bookcase, it would be amazing, because quite a bit of the furniture that some stores sell isn't made of real wood.

That would be a neat thing to do. I already have 5 or 6 cases of vintage Shiny-Brite ornaments and vintage glass candles. I prefer a tall Christmas tree, but a mini Christmas tree could always fit in a smaller room. The thing is though, the yarns with the 70's colors have already been donated to a thrift store, so hopefully they have been purchased by someone who will find something to make with them.

Its seems like they made skin collecting a thing, so it would make sense for them to do something to help those that want to collect all the zombie skins. I am a long way from finishing my plushie and beanbag collections, but I think I remember staff rereleasing some of the older collectibles.

There is a lot of work that could be done to develop what was introduced during the cruise. We did get areas of the map updated though. Maybe the introduction of the Lower Ziarans could mean that there may be a bit of a plot or some extra excitement during Masquerade.

I need to finish the Gravedigger achievements as well, but I need to plug my mouse in before I play. I was a bit too slow with the trackpad.
