The price guides were to be more inclusive for those who don't have so much to spend, but no one will complain for extra generosity! :) Definitely don't worry about it. [Edit] Forgot to answer other post. Good luck with the toy shopping. A short holiday? Where is the festive spirit!
We'll make sure to clarify next time round!
No way to account for crazy supply and demand prices this time of year, very true!
Questing on a kindle with a screen the size of half a piece of toast is tough. Managed Shinwa and on 12/15 Wizard. My battery will be gone before I get these done!
I forgot to mention earlier, but Thank You to my Santa Shark! <3

buys all the sweaters and socks and rolls around piles of fresh laundry "I'm making wool angels!"
I love what my Baby Shark Santa gave me!
I feel like I'm running out of time to get my husband's gifts done, but now I've got two weeks off from work, so I'll have quite a bit of time to work on them the rest of this week.
I've got most of cards I made on Shutterfly delivered, but I've got the rest of the cards to do for family. I may try to work on that some tomorrow morning to get it done. I still have gifts to wrap, but I'll try to do those tomorrow as well.
It will be at least 6 months before I can start working on it, as I took most of my fabric home. The hardest part for me will be cutting the pieces out of the vintage fabric! The shadow boxes would be great for the small shirts, but they are expensive here. I've found a few small ones at thrift stores and plan on using them to put dried flowers from my wedding in.
I don't know if they teach kids how to actually type anymore. I always see students using the hunt and peck method or just typing with two fingers from each hand. There is a craft store here that has classes in sewing, crochet, and knitting, some geared towards adults and others towards kids.
The AC Amiibos that I've seen are all NPC characters, like Tom Nook, Isabelle, K.K. Slider. I might get a few more, just to see what unique items other NPCs have for sale. Only five more days until Christmas, so maybe soon your niece will soon have her own copy!
I have Pokemon Shuffle, but I haven't played it in a while, I got very frustrated at a certain level and couldn't get past it. I haven't checked to see if Mario Run is available yet on Android, but it is a game that I'm wanting to try out!
For a while, I had been reading quite a few books at work whenever I didn't have too much to do. But I haven't been reading at home like I used to. I've never read any of the Sherlock Holmes books, may have to see what it available on the Kindle at a decent price.
In Germany we kinda have "Mainachten". It's not an actual thing, more like a commercial strategy invented by shops. Christmas in german is "Weihnachten" and May is "Mai", so that's where it comes from.
But really I'd totally be in for a secret summer shark event
Yuri and Mystic Messenger... reminds me very much a of a friend who is obsessed with both. :P
Oh don't you worry. and I are working on a summer shark thing. ;)
Tell my Sharky Santa thank you very much and for the beautiful poem!
Is anyone else getting hit with terrible lag and 504 errors? It's making questing rather tedious.
I snagged a Rudolph at half off for my great niece :D yay for sales! Bad news: The Galaxy 3DSxl that Emily wants is gone :o I can't find it!!!! The guy at Game Stop said that everything Nintendo has been flying off the shelves and they don't have any left :( so bummed. I never thought I would have a problem finding it sigh.
I threw the rest of the presents for my Secret Santa Shark under their tree, but I do want to send one last present on Christmas Day ❤
"But really I'd totally be in for a secret summer shark event" oooh count me in!!!!
does that mean we can send more then once? is all excited
can we, can we, can we? and can we?

My kind of people! Yes I cosplay as 707 ... and plan to with Yuri as well once I get some funds back after the holidays. I feel like when things normally would have slowed down after Summer - they kept up right at the same pace so I was never able to catch my breath. And I should start prepping for conventions again as I have Anime Milwaukee and a few others this spring that require me to sew my heart out. Have been dealing with a lot of stressful things which without Yuri and Mystic Messenger - I would be totally depressed about now. But Subeta and the sharks runs at a close third! Mind you it also totally messes up my sleeping patterns.
I mean if you want to go rogue, I physically can't stop you. is geographically much closer, so I'd say it's up to her :)
splashes back down In the name of Shinwa, real life is busy crazy busy right now...
However, the lag on Firefox is immense, I don't know if it's this end or the site!
OK, at least I have the big machine up and running so I should be able to load and reply to my 'comments' section today.
Wool angels? Is this what we should be using up our stashes on? Throw some balls of wool into the mix for festive snowball vibes!
Go Rudolph! Aw, shame about the DS. Have you got an anletnative plan if they've all been bought up?
My final 2 parcels have made it! Now, less panicking and more wrapping.
That's a nice idea for the extra gifts!
Thank goodness for some off-time, there is a definite lack of hour in the day at the moment...
Well, cards are made and sent, gifts have FINALLY all made it, tomorrow is food shopping day, and wrapping day. And I hope that's pretty much it.
Hope your card and gift wrap goes well too.
Now, have I got enough tape for the gifts?!
It will be a nice project to look forward too then. I know what you mean about cutting vintage fabrics, but you have to remember it is their purpose! To be something unique for someone in the world. :)
Keep on bargain hunting, you may find some nice boxes.
I really don't know it typing as such is even considered at schools these days, I think with touch screens and everything it's very much a dying-out skill! Two thumbs or two fingers is the future way, by the looks of things.
Huzzah for craft stores keeping things going. It's only a shame it's not skills given for free to all.
Will keep an eye out for any of those amiibos in the sales, bit maxed out over the festive period! Does sound like some fun stuff may be available too.
C'mon, Santa, wit that spare copy of AC...
Mario Run is definitely one of those addictive, just one more go things. I expect more shouting when things go wrong. xD
If you have a kindle, the Sherlock Holmes compilations sometimes come round on the free ofers, so do keep an eye out. Mind you, as they are sometimes only a couple of £ here, I guess they may not be too bad to just buy anyway!
It we have time, Shark Summer Santa could be a thing? Or Springtime Sharklings?
MaiNacht Tank?
Planning time, y'all! Suggestions welcome. ;)
And yes, do not fear, there be at least one Summer Shark event.
Winter Contest & Raffle

All welcome, but please make sure you're signed up to the JAWSOME group!
(NOTE: these are open to all who use the Shark Tank, but please make sure you sign up for the Jawsome Group to keep up to date & access the forums!)
Instead of the DS (I have looked everywhere online and no luck within 350 miles of us) I am going to get her a PS4 and the Attack on Titan game that she has been wanting since it was released :D
last christmas project gifts for people I work with

We estimate you've spent about 4,353,421,313 on presents this year! I guess I am more or less done (still looking at empty trees)

There definitely is not enough time in the day during this time of year. I've got Christmas cards finished and into the mail. Next will be wrapping gifts.
I'm sure it will turn out to be a lovely quilt, once I've started and completed it. I do plan to either hand sew either all or part of the quilt. I will keep looking for shadow boxes at thrift stores, but I try not to go too often because I always end up finding things I don't need.
The school I work at offers computer courses, but I think its just teaches how to use certain programs. The school I went to taught typing courses. We had a textbook that we would type from as well as a typing computer program that would gauge how many words per minute we could type. If I remember correctly, I think I could type over 80 words per minute. I have an iPad but I bought a physical keyboard to use with it to make typing easier. I would love to take some of the classes at the local craft store, but they aren't cheap. I had a coupon a few weeks ago that for classes at the store but it only dropped the price to $25, so I don't know how expensive the classes were.
I bought mine on the last day of the sale Gamestop had, but there was at least one used AC amiibo figure for sale. I may see if my husband would want to stop by the shop while we are out tonight. They've also released a new series of the AC amiibo cards that show the villagers in their RVs.
I'll keep a look out for the game when it is released on android. I used to play Temple Run and would get very frustrated when I would have a mishap after a very good run.
I think I have seen some of the Sherlock books for free on the kindle, otherwise they might be 99 cents to $2.
Shark Summer Santa shows up ashore to screaming swimmers and sunbathers.
Hopefully that should be much easier to get hold of!
Crisis is averted.
The adorable-ness is real! That is a really cute design, are they your home made ones?
I would cross my fingers, but they're a bit sellotaped currently as I thought I'd get ahead with the wrapping, but appear to be too tired to coordinate anything! Put it down and walk away time, I think...
Personally, I go for hand sewing always - when I have time. I have made entire skirts (full length) through the power of handsewing! xD
But I find it allows me to watch TV at the same time - which is great at encouraging me to look up and have an eye break. It can get a bit intense and with too much staring otherwise.
Oh, dear - the danger of browsing! I understand. There are always so many bargains, it is hard to leave them behind at the store.
That's some proper typing skills you have there! I did learn touch typing years back, but owing to clicky wrists often just resort to 'whatever is more comfy'. However, that wasn't a school thing - I actually had to pay for a course.
The prices for some crafting lessons/courses can be a bit scary. Especially as we can be cheeky these days and youtube stuff!
Eyes on the sales then. Unfortunately, there are no game shops in the local town, and the nearest city is 50 mins bus ride away! Might have to stalk the online suppliers...
Prepare for much groaning when you've been 'got' by the same part of the course for the x th time! I assume if it's not on multi formats now it soon will be, if popular.
That's definitely not too bad. I have snagged a few beginners Crochet guides on kindle too, trying to get my head round it still.
(Will reply to the comment tomorrow, lurg says 'Sleep. Required.')
To the tune of Summertime Blues: I'm gonna snap my teeth, I'm gonna shake the Tank down / No events all summer; seems to make a Sharky face frown / So we're plotting something big here, gonna set the date / For fun in the Tank, well, you gotta work late / Sometimes I wonder what I'm a gonna do / But we got the cure for those SummerShark Blues!
