Test it until it breaks!
Well, hopefully it won't, but we need to make sure.

I really admire your organisational skills!
Mostly, I have been sending out little gifts for folk, I have made sure I saved enough for Secret Santa-ing, and then will see what's left!
We have to make the most of these forum gift boxes, they will not be for long.
Plushie is good, working on the collections is always important!
can't wait for the Secret Santa Shark thing
I just hope nobody feels left out. That would be a bad thing...

Hubby said he might work on it some time this weekend. Said it might be a Christmas present if it gets done in time. I'm still working one the Star Wars colored line arts for husband's Xmas gift. Almost half way finished with one, then I'l move on to the next one.
I tend to crochet with soft, thick yarns if I'm making scarves (or in the future a blanket), thinner yarns if I'm making washcloths. I prefer softer yarns for things I'm wearing as I can't stand anything that's scratchy again my skin. I need to get back to work on the washcloth I started making, so far I haven't been doing too badly at keeping the stitches even.
I'm not sure if this latest updated added anything, or just fixed any issues with the last update. One thing I love from the last update is that we can finally shake trees while holding a bug net, makes catching those pesky bees so much easier! I've got the fishing tourney going on in my town today, luckily I can turn in any fish, so I'll be able to use the sharks that I stockpiled a few weeks ago.
I love Christmas movies! Just bought How the Grinch Stole Christmas last night, but I try to watch them only during Christmas, otherwise I'm watching action/adventure movies. Hubby and I might watch it tonight, depends on if we go out to do some shopping and go for a carriage ride through part of town.
oh lookie it's " 's dress" :)
I think thinner yarns are easier to work with. Only have 5 colors of worsted until I improve. Who could really wear the scratchy ones? skin crawl even with underlayer
Yay :D I love seeing how people wear it! It looks beautiful on you ! ❤
Oh, you must not worry. I am sure everyone will be super happy with their Luminaire things.
For myself, in previous years, I took part in a gifting board just giving cheaper, little items (under 5 thousand) and even having those things when we opened the gifts was so much fun. I think most people feel the same. :)
I managed to save some money from Xmas shopping to afford the dress in the sale, I was very happy! ;)
The gift based tension is rising further! That would be fun, though, if he can manage it in time.
The art should be great when it's all sorted. Glad there's still plenty of time yet.
Good luck with the wash cloths - ideal for practising the stitches. A friend of mine got a load of 2-ply yarn from a shop closure, it's really meant for machine knitting, but I found it perfect for barbie/doll clothing. But it is very fine. Good for gloves too.
Even on AC sharks have super (tourney winning) power. And eels. xD
Muppet Xmas films are usually a good go-to. And Die Hard is technically an Xmas film...
The BBC are doing an Agatha Christie story for Xmas too, Witness for the Prosecution.
Aw, thank you! :)
How's your weekend going?
yes but I want my friends to know that I appreciate their friendship (even if it's only online) I tend to do that with all the people in my life laughs
okay, another 50 fairies and off to bed I go

One does not simply shake a tree. You hump it until it rewards you with the fruits of your labor
Remember if you ever doubt That this is what friendship's about A kindly word, and chatting time Be it real life or here online To help each other walk our path Some silliness and lots of laughs To listen when the times get tough And that will always be enough ❤
Just for a minute let's all DO THE BUMP... !
I tend to make my stitches too tight with thin yarn. I managed to keep them pretty loose when I made an infinity scarf with a chunky purple yarn.
I've got a knitted sweater from Norway that I have yet to wear because it is so scratchy. I think if I wore a long sleeve shirt under it and something on my neck I would be fine. I'd like to find a way to make it softer and not have it shrink.
I may see if he would want to work on it tomorrow, while I work on his gifts. Then neither one of us is in the way of the other and we can both make progress.
I'm working on a new stitch now, but I need to find a video on youtube to watch to figure out exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. I learn better by watching someone else. I got all the yarn from my grandmother's stash. I didn't keep all of it, some of it was in colors that I didn't like or was a bit stiff. I believe I also got a box or two of the 2-ply yarn as well, mostly in red and white.
It also means I no longer scare my villagers when I talk to them after getting stung. Now I can buy medicine for villagers that are sick and for the occasional bee sting (whenever I'm on the wrong side of the tree). I've got an hour left before the fishing tourney is over. I'll turn in two more sharks to solidify my victory as they measure over 200 inches in length.
I've got the Muppets Christmas Carol, might watch that one next week. Netflix has some good Christmas movies as well. I'm actually surprised my husband hasn't suggested we watch Die Hard yet! We watched it a few years ago before Christmas. Ooh! I'd love to watch it but alas I don't have cable/satellite, only Netflix.
good night waves

Good night! :)
That would be the perfect arrangement, keeping both lots of gifts secret.
We have 1 out of 3 trees decorated, phase two is Sunday's task. Busy, busy.
Good luck with the new stitch. Thank goodness for tutorials. Trying to learn from descriptions/images in (especially older) books or magazines can be a bit tricky.
True some old yarns are very itchy. Or very nylon from the 70s!
I did try knitting using bamboo yarn, but it was weird to wear, sort of cold/clammy. Looked nice, but not for me.
Best get the winning sharks entered for the contest! Then you can be the village champion! Well, hopefully.
There's an Xmas special TV guide that's just come out, so I bought a copy and will be marking all the things we want to watch or need to record.
Aw, such a shame you can't get the show. They did 'And then there were None' last year, which was pretty good. I don't know if BBC stuff gets on Netflix much? I think it is on UK DVD, not sure about international, though.
Enjoy the films!
It is going great so far :) Just dropped off my niece at home. We had her birthday party and took her out to dinner. Now I am tired lol. I need to watch the new Jason Bourne movie before I have to take it back later.
Getting a lot of snow tonight, thinking I might have to do something sharky tomorrow.
OK CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW HECKING CUTE THIS SHIZ RIGHT HERE IS BECAUSE YES YES IT IS ADORABLE OML
i can't wait to make an HA with it
In fact i'm going to go try that right now.
