Your snack sounds yummy. I had maple flavored milk yesterday. It was super yummy.

- Same for me. After I lost my 2 sides to cookie grabbers, neo became about not being hacked instead of having fun.

These quests are wearing me out. I don't think we'll make the 750k threshold, either...which is fine. I don't need another pet slot.

Yeah it's not looking very good for the quest-a-thon. I'm still doing quests because I do them daily anyway, but we've fallen too far behind now I think.

If my husband and I get a dog before he leaves next year, it probably will be an outside dog only while I'm with my parents (my mom doesn't want dogs in the house). My parents already have a housecat and he doesn't like other cats, so I wouldn't be able to get a cat until we have a house built. The cat my parents have sleeps on their bed and used to sleep on mine.

That's very true. I could do that for some of the glass-wear that I'm not sure about keeping. I hope things get resolved for you soon.

Dehydration is no fun at all. Every time I've been dehydrated, I've gotten a migraine along with it. I was also drinking juice and chocolate milk, but I focused on drinking more water throughout the day. My generally don't drink much water during the day and I'm typically fine, but if I'm out working in the heat, that's what gets me.

It is, but its been 6 weeks since I broke it, and the worry now is if it keeping it straight for too long will cause issues with finger mobility. I've had the splint off for a few days and there's only pain if its bent too quickly or I bump my hand on something.

Thanks, if I'm being honest with myself, I didn't fully want the job because I wasn't too confident about the speaking in front of people part. My dad rattled off a long list of things he'll finally be able to start working on or do now that there's more help at home, so its starting to sound like my mom is the one who wants me to have an off the farm job.

I should have taken a picture of it, but I never did.

There are so many things that can be made from beads, too. Fabric is too expensive for me to part with any of it, and most of the fabric I have came from either my mom or my grandmother. I have some plans on quilts that I want to me (wedding ring quilt with fabric from my grandmother, t-shirt quilt with shirts from school, hexagon quilt, etc). I did get my craft supplies moved, but I'm still figuring out how to organize them at home. I still need to moved my sewing machines and some other fabric. Wheat harvest starts next week, and I'll be sitting in a tractor with my husband so I'll have time to do cross stitch or sew some hexagon blocks.

I just make sure I have on shoes when I go into the basement or have something nearby that I can use to squash them. I killed three in one day last week, one of them was hiding at the top of the stairs. So far, I've only found two in my room back home. I killed one of them and threw something at the other one and it disappeared (so it might have crawled in with some of my craft supplies).

Weather has currently been going back an forth between hot and sunny to stormy, but I've been feeling much better.

I'm glad to have my husband back home. Yesterday was a day full of errands (and spending more money then I should have). Today has been a day of packing and relaxing.

- from my time spent out on fields flying model rockets I know to keep drinking when outside in the heat (and, of course, to get in shade when you can). Otherwise the heat will definitely get you. And you can, if needed also take salt tablets, although I never needed to resort to that.

So sorry to hear that your finger is still giving you problems. Hopefully you and your doctor will figure out what to do with it so that it will finish healing.

Sounds like you and your Dad are on the same page. Maybe your Mom will agree (or maybe you can figure out some sort of compromise like a part-time job in town either paid or volunteer. I'm sure you will all work something out.

Sounds like you are a gifted crafter. I'm sure whatever you wind up making will be beautiful.

I can remember having enormous spiders (seriously! - one showed up upstairs when I was hosting Dungeons and Dragons and the guys were all afraid of it too! They refused to catch it, but one of them did kill it.) in my basement when I first moved here. Fortunately I haven't seen anything close to that large for many years now. We used to be surrounded by open swamp land on all three sides and I think most of the big spiders moved away when houses were finally built.

Glad to hear you're feeling better!

So good that you and your husband are getting some time to relax together.

hehe my kiddie dresser's in the bathroom. It's an eyesore. :D We keep TP, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, spare socks and undies, tissues and pharmaceuticals in there with clothes hamper and antibacterial wipes on top.

Lemon water. Vitamin C is good for headaches.

For any furniture you're keeping you can just shove crates and canned goods under unused tables and chairs, We put bulk aluminium foil and pasta in the tv cabinet because there was room next to the VCR/DVD player... The linen closet is entirely photographs, stationary, lightbulbs with an old rug blocking everything... The hallway is full of used Dunkin Donuts bucket containers of glaze (gosh they smelled good) and washed out to store grains/ dry foods... laundry detergent is underneath it, 2 pallets (boxes) high. It's a lot but they're necessary to keep. Boxes and buckets are great. We'd have more pests without them.

I don't know if your location has one, if you buy rice directly from a rice warehouse get the 5 or 6 gallon bucket, reusable bucket! And you know it's good for food. :) Buckets for life!

(There are a bunch of things you can buy that come with reusable storage so you don't have to spend on storage units, that's the only one I can think of right now. )

I guess so, I just wished the spiders ate more. Maybe it's one of those A Bug's Life scenes and they're sticking together in there 😨

They like hanging around the sink and hiding between the counter edges or behind the stove where I can't hit them, grr. Once a month we clean out the cabinets and rebag stuff to get rid of their smelly eggs and shedding.

Badddd Bobby Titan! Devouring all of Sasha's friends... >:C

I almost cried during the last episode. Time to wait for the next season.

Yay weekend quests and retired items! It does seem to be helping, our quests completed has gone up dramatically since midnight.

Still not sure if we'll make it by the end of the day, but it's going to be close! Hopefully a few extra people can get their quests done ~

- if you are having to clean out spider stuff every month, that's an awful lot of spiders. Maybe it's the norm where you are living? And I normally would not suggest this - but perhaps a professional pest control intervention is needed. We very rarely use them, but there are times when they are helpful. Last time I had ants on my kitchen counter (more than we could deal with for complicated reasons) and was very fortunate to find a great company with safe products that worked! When I mentioned the problem was on my kitchen counters - with food! - he not only told me the product he was using was safe to eat - he demonstrated by eating some of it! A little crazy, yes, but it did make me confident that no one would get hurt and I wasn't ruining the earth or the water supply. He was also very knowledgeable about where pests get into your house and knew all the right places to check and treat.

I should clarify, the spiders are few, the roaches many. New York. Graphic Bug Descriptions Our household uses a pesticide chalk and roach motels. Some neighbors like to set off smoke-bomb type deterrents rather than catch, stomp or spray. If one apartment is clean it just means they scuttled across or through the wall. The building is old so they eventually come back from a different apartment.

We got two notices the last two months for fumigation, On one notice we decided against it due to allergies and it was on some level toxic because the notice mentioned moving food and disinfecting soaks for foodwares after spraying. Plus it was too much stuff to move into the cleaner rooms. We'd just be helping the critters move into non-infected areas. The other notice was a lie because they didn't show up.

They're a bit fascinating, some of them are fine with parkouring across objects and my internet cords - I've tried to squish some that decide to take a leap a faith before I could get them. They hit the floor sounding like dry lentils and continue scurrying - evolution of roach, :) lol. They're also evolving to have a more triangular cone body which makes them speedy. Lately it's like their leg hairs got sharper and their abdomens take longer to burst. I'll stop ._.

That's alarming :o He could've just let you read some info. ...maybe he's built an immunity to any substance he's been handling over the course of his life :!

I better focus my thoughts elsewhere while I have dinner xD

Have you thought of your next pet? ( You too, and Idk yet :3)

- congratulations! I know you were one of the ones working hard to help make it happen.

- ah, yes. Roaches in an apartment building are definitely all or none. A high school friend had roaches in their apartment building - maybe not as many as yours, but I still remember finding them if I turned on a light at night - especially in the bathroom. You are right, that is a different problem.

As far as the pesticide tasting, you had to have been there. It actually wasn't scary (although I see how it could have been under different circumstances). Possible allergies and asthma are also concerns here so I understand not wanting to spray stuff that might be toxic.

Anyway, hope you are happily enjoying your dinner.
