- yay! Glad you got two. I also managed to buy a second one, although they are very inexpensive right now (about 2 million sP). As they get eaten, I expect the price will start to go up again.

Sounds like a good day. I had guests and we spent the day playing a very long railroad game (that shouldn't have been nearly that long, but people were learning, so) and eating food from a nearby deli.

Very true. When it comes to finance or taxes, mistakes are best prevented rather than fixed whenever possible.

Even with some categories, my vault is still a mess (and a sort of bottomless pit). Part of the problem is I had no idea what sort of categories I would need. Now that I battle, for example, it would be nice to have had a category for weapons. Thank goodness I do have one for books so I can find those if I want them. Usually new stuff is easy because adding another category is pretty straightforward (although I would really like to be able to arrange my category list, or at least,, to have them default to alphabetical). Good that those foods are in a gallery where you can keep track of them.

Whodunit is out of print and probably has been for awhile. I was fortunate enough to have bought it when it came out (along with a bunch of other mystery sort of games) since I had lots of people to play them with at that time. Apparently there is also a different game called the Whodunit Mystery Game which looks more like Clue than my game, as well as a vintage game called Whodunit? with the subtitle "The Game of Evidence". Mine is in a square mostly black box. Except for the vintage game, I do see used versions of these selling at mostly reasonable prices (although I don't know how much they would cost to ship), so you might well be able to find a used one in a second hand shop.

My understanding is that Clue and Cluedo are pretty much exactly the same as far as the game is concerned - just a difference in title and I think a few names of people and things were changed due to the "language difference" between Britain and America

This weekend I had guests for our monthly gaming session, so that was fun. Yesterday I just relaxed which was also nice. Hopefully, today it's back to serious work. How about you?

Thanks :) I was lucky that she went to bed in time for me to jump online for the restock!

Glad we both had such a good day! Today she helped me take down my St. Paddy's day decorations and put up the Easter ones. She decorated the bottom halves of the windows while I got the top halves lol.

- You're welcome. Glad it worked out.

Nice to have pleasant weekends. Sounds like a perfect division of labor to me! :-) Hoping the weather is good for you - no more chasing decorations down the block.

Yeah :) and I am deff hoping for a snow free Easter. Especially since we are planning a trip up north for 4 days. I do not like driving in bad weather, and the hotel will still charge me a fee if we have to cancel :(

Looking ready for any cyber punk shenanigans!

*throwing last few snowballs * Spring has sprung!

And I can;t stop giggling at:

Any time. Just let us know how you're doing, when you can. ❤

Lego and Shaun the Sheep sounds like a good time to me!

We're currently down to 2°C with the threat of light snow but it's dry so far.

I'm still applying for jobs, so form filling in 'right first time' is on my mind too.
No one wants to end up with financial things delayed or even having to pay stuff back!

Pretty sure I have stuffed enough into my vault that it'd take an age to sort through and I am not sure I'd have the commitment. But SubetaLodge is helpful, they have lists of all books, all the clothes, etc, so I can often narrow it down that way when searching.
But a separate weapons store, pantry for baking, Alchemy lab for ingredients... Certainly helpful to me.

Shame about those games being out of print. And yeah, unfortunately, shipping can be quite a shocker, even within the UK the prices got hiked about 2 years back and bulky items got hit hardest. International is worse!
I got the Game of Life 2nd hand, and Payday which is similar. The one I am hunting for (as we have a broken version) is a kids game called haunted house game called Ghost Castle.
Retro fun!

Ah, the great UK/US language divide! xD

What games did your group go for? A relaxing day sounds just the thing!

My other half is off again this week, another business meeting, but only in the UK this time, so should only be a day thing, hopefully.

And to everyone, Happy Spring Sharks!
:)

Hello everyone. It seems I forgot to subscribe to this list when I joined during Survival.

Just wanted to say that I'm waiting for the dancing stuff to begin. And I have been working on getting items from the menagery but I have been thinking of not getting the items that don't go anywhere anymore.

No worries, glad to see you!

Yeah, is preparing to set up a Ballroom Shark Tank dancing board, so any Shark in need can get some dance requests.

Hopefully there will be the duels or a similar thing for getting extra tokens too, this year.

If we can manage some hard core dancing, we might be able to get nearly all the things we'd like!

I'm saving CSC to get that background from the monthly collection, a couple more bathhouse visits should do it.

Good luck saving up! They had really nice items for the cyber theme - I think I will get the wings at some point, if I can afford them.

(still crossing fingers in case of plot)

I'm kind of hoping for a mini-plot or something too, or at least some more cyberpunk themed items in the Menagerie or some kind of incorporation of the theme with the regular Masquerade event.

Even just introducing some new NPCs from Lower Ziara would be fun, and allow us to throw out some ideas for future plots/years.

Or instead of the duelling, the dance floor gets invaded by cyber punks and we can earn extra tokens that way, waving our glo sticks at them...!
xD

That would be a cool idea, the dueling thing! Cyberpunk party crashers, I could totally see that happening.

And yeah, being able to visit Lower Ziara and maybe get some new shops there would be fun too!

and Glow stick showdown against cyber punks on the dance floor? Heck ya!

Thanks in advance for being our event board maker! <3

I found a Whodunit online, sadly it's just a demo but they don't tell you they only have one scenario generated. I can only speak from experience, math classes sometimes run across a Whodunit type word problem because it teaches process of elimination through inductive reasoning
