There are TOT boards in the forums when they start a Morostide section. If any Sharks want to do a TOT board that would be fine, just remember to post the link here. Stuffing my pet with oofa fruits because she only needs to find 1 more bug for the achievement. ;)

There are usually a bunch of other trick or treating boards, so we don't really do one specifically for that. But I'll put up a general event stuff chat thread for anyone to join, with all the event info and links in the first post for convenience ~

Super done & Gismo fed :) Pasta, spaghetti sauce, greek yogurt & cheese wiz on top. A tea as a drink and two pieces of maple fudge for dessert. The sauce was just so-so but ok in a pinch. If I would have been feeling better it would have been nice to have black olives & some homemade garlic bread. But that starts getting fancy :P

Cool thanks for the info :D I am going to try to come up with some kind of contest, but it will depend on what all is going on this time. If there is a plot, then I don't want to overload anyone.

They don't usually have a plot for Morostide but there's a lot going on with TOT, pumpkin patch, special opponents to battle, zapping with the zapper, etc.

Ah, usually when I do garlic bread I just buy the frozen things that you can heat up quickly in the oven. Still tastes alright. :P

Something simple like a costume contest or create a spooky decoration or something might be fun, and not too difficult for people.

Not usually, but we still haven't gotten the continuation of the Jaxon & Ian plot yet (from 2014), so maybe we'll get that this year. Who knows ~

During a summer to pay for school I became a part-time baker. The key to good garlic bread is waiting for it to harden a bit, day-old bread. We had a spread premade so we just had to cut the bread and put some on.

At home, when I have tummy troubles I use garlic salt and dried herbs. I got some fresh mild garlic from the garden group I'm with. I was able to put some with fresh herbs a while ago... tasty ;)

I like the idea of simple.

That sounds good too!

Hmm, debating if I want to watch football or a movie. I might watch the beginning of the game and then do a movie, Gotta find something to watch though.

I am still hoping for more of the Ian and Jaxon plot that we had :)

Yeah deff something simple. I want it to be fun and not a chore lol. I get lazy when something is a chore!

I hope they don't continue what was a boring "plot" and if they have to make a plot then start a new one.

Movie is timed so you know when it ends and you can pause more easily than football. Then again, I'm not a sports watcher :P Hum, I'm starting to get hungry again... movie & snack time soon.

I would love to see more Ian and Jaxon. I've been waiting for that to happen.

- thank you. Sounds like they are not making much sense.

- you can pause sports if you have a DVR. Or if you record them and then watch the recording (you can do that even during the game but, of course, can't get past the current live action since there's no time machine available :-) ). If you are a fan, and familiar with the sport, it can also be easier to watch than a movie - less difficult sometimes to figure out what is going on. All just a matter of personal preference I guess. LOL

Sports are also easier to passively watch and just have on in the background, look up when something exciting happens. Because sometimes there can be a lot of nothing in between the big plays. :P

I ended up watching the game. My team lost, but not by too much, and the team we lost to is undefeated so far this season so they're pretty good. Better than losing embarrassingly to a worse team.

I rather listen to the radio when passively doing something, but that's me :P We never watched many sports (on rare occasions some Olympics); instead, we would rather go outside & do things or stay home and watch storylines. The first guy I went out with wanted me to go to a hockey game and I would meet his parents for the first time. I had to explain to him it wasn't my type of thing & if I were to meet his parents I would prefer to be in a non-miserable context. Needless to say, it didn't work out :P

Yeah it's not for everyone, but I grew up watching football almost every weekend during the season (and baseball and some other sports occasionally). I don't go to games very often anymore, but I'll still watch them at home. Especially when there's not much else to do.

When I was doing my masters at McGill, I was living in grad residency right beside the stadium where Alouettes played. For some odd reason when I would find the "ideal" time to study is usually when they would play. Streets would be full of people, horns would blow, while I couldn't even escape to the library due to the area being packed with people. I did go see a game I think once but just wasn't into it. I found Tamtams funner: near Mont Royal people gather to play music on drums & other instruments including makeshift ones or clapping. I even took Gismo in his stroller but he didn't want to come out on the blanket... hide in the stroller poor fella.

I like & enjoy things but I've never become a big "fan" of anything. If I did meet someone that meshes well with me, I'd be more tolerant if the person was an anime, Star Trek, Star Wars, etc. fan. I wouldn't even mind dressing up in historical costumes, do fun interactive things, etc. To his/her own. For now, it's Gimso & me; we're a good team as-is ;)

I guess their thinking was "It is a lousy plot so we will just distract everyone with robots and special effects...maybe they wont notice" lol!

Haven't gone there yet. Might do it later.

Thanks. My bedroom is a mess, so my laptop keeps getting buried on my desk. I've been trying to get things organized, but its rather difficult when I'm also helping my mom organize her sewing room, which as a result I end up with more stuff. My husband and I have Verizon and make monthly payments on our phones, which makes the bill cheaper, but we are still essentially locked into a 2 year contract. I give my husband a check for my portion of the bill, but that;s getting harder to do as I don't have a paycheck coming in. Hopefully when we move into a farm house that we will rent from a local couple, I'll start getting paid for working on the family farm. My mom bought a Motorola directly from Motorola and uses it with Verizon. Only problem is that they can't help her with any issues she has with the phone.

Things do seem to be falling into place, except for me getting paid for the work I'm doing on the farm. I'm keeping track of my hours for the big things, like fixing fence or working cattle, but not pushing it with the small things like morning chores.

Problem is, the file from that program is gone too. I had the website bookmarked and the last time I visited, the entire program is gone. I've got to different disk programs for designing home (one I picked up at a thrift store) that I'll try and see if they work. All I have is my hand sketch of the layout.

I turned in Mage Amulets until I got the tomes for the achievement, then I started selling them. I don't think I got a tome every time I turned in an amulet. I'm sure there'a a market for tomes, but I've never checked.

The monthly Collection box that's released on the first of every month. I blanked on the name. I try to visit the bathhouse every day, but when my laptop gets buried, I tend to forget. I could try to visit every day on my phone, but I'd have to use the desktop version instead of the mobile version.

I don't like talking on the phone because I need time to think about what I'm going to say, especially if I'm on the phone with someone I don't know or I'm asked some off the wall question. I also feel rushed when I'm in a phone call.

The communications company here requires that you have a landline if you want internet access. They are packaged together and then you can also add cable tv if you want it. I don't like having a landline, because my parents get hit with telemarketers and restricted calls multiple times a day. For emergencies, it would be nice as cell service isn't always reliable out here.

My parents used to have an Atari, I don't know which model it was, and at least one case of games. I wanted to try it out, but we no longer had a TV that it would plug into. But of course now there are adapter cables. I like 8-bit graphics and I don't mind slower games, I've also got 2 original GameBoys that I pull out from time to time.

I look for point and click adventures or hidden objects games for PC. I used to play Lord of the Rings Online and I eventually got pretty good at remember which keys to press for what I wanted to do.

Some games are not fun on the Wii, like the LEGO games or Epic Mickey, just because of how tedious it becomes to use the remote. But sports games like tennis are fun.
