Welcome back :) I'm looking into upgrading my own smartphone eventually (around 8 years old); however, I think I'll wait till after Dec 1st when they are no longer allowed to lock phones to a company. I've been thinking of getting LG stylos 3 and haven't been able to due to the headaches of getting one. Yes, I could unlock it but the companies refuse to sell without a plan, really annoying.

Don't have that item either, then again youngster that I am I wouldn't expect to ;)

- you have a nice collection of rods. For my battling purposes, I'm afraid only the Ultra Star Rod will do. It's a T7 retired Millionaire Center item that blocks dark and has an attack. The only other weapons that attack and block enough dark are T9 and above and I'm trying to battle with my T8. :-) He's stuck at three wins because, even with potions and shards, he just doesn't have quite enough ooomph.

So pleased to hear that things are going well. A job for your husband, your parents okay with you working on the farm like you want to, and your finger healing are all great to hear. That can be one of the major problems when using anything "free" on the web. Any chance you could take your file and convert it for some other program rather than starting over? If you have a printout of some sort, you could at least work from that.

Hmmm - since I don't turn in my mage amulets, I don't know, but I wonder if, even though you don't battle, it would be more profitable to turn in your Mage Amulets and sell the resulting tomes? Not sure exactly what the conversion rate is supposed to be (but of course your rate is partly based on luck). But then I also don't know how hard it is (or isn't) to sell Mage Amulets since I keep mine. Also don't know whether there is a market for the tomes compared to the amulets.

What is a monthly box? Should I know? Good that you found some things to do with your CSC. Eventually, you will probably wind up with more. If you could visit the Bathhouse daily, you would earn 150 CSC every month. I know you don't always login. But it seems like it might be worth it and if you just did that and then logged off again, it would not take much time (just a few minutes). My problem is that as soon as I log in I stay ... and stay ... and stay. I find way too many things to do on my computer, so if I don't have a lot of time, I like to stay away from it completely. Seems like that would not be a problem for you at all. :-)

Texting can be convenient, but it just is not a substitute for actual voice calls. I know lots of people say they don't like talking on the phone. Which is fine if you can talk to people in person - which, of course, is the best. But today people are often far away, so phone it is. And no amount of typing on the internet or your phone can substitute for hearing (and with video calling - seeing someone).

Always good to have useful apps on your phone. If they help you with your work with the cattle, then that's a good thing.

I would prefer to have a landline - and I do sort of. Technically, my "landline" is VOIP now so it's not really a landline and won't work if the power goes out. You usually can get internet without a landline, but you can't get internet without the phone cables, so not sure if you actually have to have the phone itself. Personally, I still think they're great for emergencies.

I think you might find that the graphics on the old Atari are too primitive and the speed too slow for you to really count it. (Although it's roughly comparable to the NES you started on). You might perhaps like the 5200 if you still like to play PacMan (one of the things I bought it for). I haven't actually seen those games in years. They're down in the basement somewhere. I assume they still work (not really much to break), but it's always possible that they don't.

I'm not actually any good at computer games that require coordination either. I look more for puzzle games, or places like Subeta.

I must admit the Wii is a nice game system. I like the physical activity involved and it seems to be good for groups. I have played a few Wii games at a friend's home, and I'm not any good at them either. :-) But I can see that it is a fun system.

It't not that I was trying to take an ethical stand. It's just that, somehow, after hearing whatever it was, I just no longer enjoyed seeing Jack Lord and that sort of made watching the program no fun. It just sort of happened and is not a habit of mine.

Anybody having any luck in the pirate shop? I've actually seen stuff stock in there once in a while but never any of the items I still want/need and most of what's stocked is selling for less. Wish they'd do the mystery box again.

~ TBH, I got most of what I needed from the Mystery Box, so I haven't gone back to the pirate shop. I need to check prices again of what I have left, but I think I'm good this year.

ETA: I also sacrificed my streak at the Bathhouse due to teh Myster Box headdesk 83 days in the toilet....

I got a lot of books at the box but none of the items I still want/need and they don't show up in the shop either. So I'll be having to pay high prices from users for them. And most of the few items I've bought in the shop I'm just throwing into my vault since they selling cheap now. Will check prices in a few months to maybe sell those. And I keep forgetting to battle. I barely have time to get all my quests done each day, no time to battle. In fact I completely forgot about it until this morning and now have to leave for work. Yeah I lost my bath house streak last December because there was too much going on with Luminaire and I forgot until January. Wish there was a way to put an alert on it like with most of the other stuff.

I'm in a forum group so I get reminders every morning. I just flaked because I was so invested in the Mystery Box.

I do bathhouse first when on subeta. I have a bookmark & it's the first tab. I also click a few times during the day just in case I forgot, so far it's working but I'm sure I'll miss it eventually. I'm almost at 250 and hoping to reach at least 300 before my memory fails.

I was stuck a while with angrybeard until I found a technique that worked. Maybe try a different technique? Sometimes you might get lucky with a critical hit... or potions might help give you a boost. Then again, not much experience myself & definately can't do your level battling. Have you considered splitting the task? Love Soul Stone does 30 dark block, infinite use.

- that's okay - neither was I. And yes, I think several people would be happy if it would become available again - I think they want it for their wardrobes since, generally it's not particularly useful as a weapon.
