Pekaboo festival maybe?

I think it's a summer event... It's not listed in the Subetapedia, I forgot how I got redirected to a wiki/lodge page about it but it was probably when I was searching for wearables last month.

Yeah that was a special summer festival. Not sure if they were going to make it an annual thing but that could be fun if they can come up with some new stuff for it. Although it could be fun building sand castles like the snow shark we did. Still haven't found the stupid bird I've been looking for for 2 days.

I don't know if we'll get Peka-boo again specifically, but the description of Gunter's new monthly brew mentions a food festival. And his brews have kind of matched whatever was going on in the month it's released, so it could have been a hint to something.

I've seen talk on the forums in some places about maybe bringing back some of the Peka-boo food and clothes and stuff, for people who weren't around to get it then. Since this month is fast food month, and most of those foods were from food trucks, it would kind of make sense (though this is just speculation, I have no idea if it will actually happen).

I also know that the 3 charity things are part of what's being worked on over the summer, so there are some things to look forward to even if we don't get a big event.

I'd like to see some of the food return since I didn't buy any back then (thought it was too expensive), but obviously they would also add some new stuff. I hope we get something interesting to pass the empty months before the fall events start. :) Still trying to find that stupid bird she asked me for 2 days ago. And the carnival shop is still broken for me. :(

That would be cool, and it would be a way that makes sense to bring back some of the old food trucks without doing the entire Peka-boo event again.

Great news (drum roll): I signed a lease!!! The apartment is really nice & in a good part of town. My aunt and I discovered the woman had waited 3 months seeing potential tenants before accepting me. She was looking for someone responsible & mature that won't wreak their things... she has a good eye :D Although I get the apart a few days before July 1st, I won't move till the end of July... will cost less during off-peak season. Place has an entrance, one closed bedroom (will be converted into living room and meditation area), a large open area for the living room, a bathroom & a kitchen with laundry hookups.

I currently have 2 bedrooms (one's an office) so I'll have to downsize; but, I'll manage.

It's on a 2nd floor but no one above me. Many buses nearby and quick intervals (10 min wait) Public library less than 10 min walk Many parks nearby Renown nature park 10 min walk away near grocery stores, restaurants, and other stores

Also, my landlord & I have agreed upon a settlement. The paperwork is being written up and we'll be signing tomorrow if all goes well. He wins by having me move & I win by getting a nice amount to help me move & settle in :D

I'll be able to afford a turn-key move (movers come pack, move, unpack).

My parents were supposed to come this past Sunday; however, they caught a bad cold. I haven't seen them since Christmas. If all goes well, they might come Father's day :)

I certainly hope that you are feeling a lot better and recovering from all the stress. Also hoping that your finger has finally stopped bothering you. There are so many things happening in your life all at once. Now that you have gotten through some of them, hopefully you will at least be able to relax and take things a little easier for a while.

Great image of Tetris with your car and boxes. I like to think of it as a sort of 3D jigsaw puzzle and I used to be pretty good at it. With everything you've moved recently, I'm sure you're at expert level.

I can see why it's hard to give up craft supplies. You got them in the first place because you were planning to create something with them - and there are so many possibilities. But they can grow out of control if you don't have the time to keep up with them, so I guess sharing some of them with others is a good idea.

I try to remind myself that spiders (and house centipedes) eat the other bugs, so I generally just leave them alone. I'm not at all fond of them though. I guess it's not so bad if they stay in the coat closet.

I don't think we have any tornado drills here. And I think most people are at work or school when the sirens are tested.

Sounds like your landlord will deserve getting a new tenant quickly.

Hopefully, now that it's June there will start to be less rain and more sunshine.

- (laughing) I know - I had two separate out of town guests and was barely on Subeta. Got on to do a few quick things at night and saw all these pings! I guess they just pick someone and keep buying them megatickets until they get the achievement - then move on to someone else. What a nice thing to do - so many wonderful surprises that I keep seeing Subeta users doing for others. Part of what I love so much about this site.
