Omg, how can you be an English major who hates writing? LOL A bike sounds scarier to me than the car, but I guess I'm just used to the car. I hope you're able to get your own transport soon, but I imagine it is difficult if you can't predict your condition well. I bought a cheap car a few years ago with low miles and so I don't feel bad that it often sits in my driveway, haha. Is a seizure dog an option for you? That's so awesome that your friend could come up and help you out, really sweet of him! I always feel guilty when people worry over me, guilty for canceling or changing plans, or guilty for not feeling up to going out, but I'm lucky that I have some awesome friends who don't mind coming up to the house to hang out and just watch netflix or eat, haha. I think the guilt has been one of the hardest things I've had to deal with in the past couple years since I was diagnosed since I often feel like a burden to others. Whether that be my family or even when I'm out with say, a group of people, and everyone wants to do a particular thing and it's not something I can do. I'm sure you have similar limitations, but for me I can't risk major/sudden g-force on my neck/head so I can't do things like rollercoasters/rides, skating, skateboarding, etc and I have to be careful about head knocks so most sports that involve contact or flying things are out too. I'm annoying to hang out with, haha. My idea of excitement is going out for coffee or tea anymore.

Well I'm looking to go into editing. I love to read, but writing really isn't my thing. Lol I was basically raised on a bmw so it's a lot less scary to me. I would LOVE a seizure dog, but I very rarely actually seize, it's mostly just the tremors, so I don't think I apply. I just need to be wary. Netflix is the BEST thing for when you can't leave the house. I've become a huge fan of the new Voltron that they have. It's soooo good. I definitely get that. I have fewer limitations because I'm not photosensitive, so I can watch all sorts of movies and go to events and stuff, and my meds are pretty effective. I always bring extras though, everywhere I go. I got a really great pill case for xmas last year and my friend told me "you and drug addicts are the only two people who'd be this excited about a pill case". But he's a dick SO. XD

definitely worth a holiday one year, summer beach BBQs are the best, huge big swim and some sauages, steaks and the kiwi fav a Christmas Pavlova. Making me feel all nostalgic, I moved away from the beach a few years ago, I have to make do with a lake instead haha

I enjoy Lumi because it's actually always pretty calm for my family - it's a small affair as our extended family doesn't even live in the same country. We open presents in the morning and have snack-type foods (nuts, sweets, fruits) available for nibbling on during the day. Then we just hang out and my brother and I usually play a nice co-op game together. C:

Ah! That makes sense then. I like academic writing, but I can't do fiction for the life of me. Or anything too personal. It feels too... exposed. I hate it. I guess if you're used to the bike it feels less frightening. I always feel like I need the car around me to protect me from other people, lol. I may end up getting a service animal at some point, but it's not necessary just yet. I'm glad you're not seizing so much that you need the dog (although it's always nice to have a dog for comfort). I haven't seen the new Voltron, I'll check it out. I'm always looking for new Netflix recs. And yeah, I'm also always carrying a bunch of pills I always worry like "what if my bag got searched for some reason?" lol. But I always have pills for different types of pain, nausea, migraines, anxiety, etc. I look mental with like two pill cases in my bag at all times. XD Okay, well, I think it's funny! So there. You have to have a sense of humor about these things!

What's a Christmas Pavlova? I'm terribly curious. That does sound really fun though!

That makes sense, a bike is very exposed, but it's so fun. I could go on for days about how much I love riding. <3<3 Dogs are definitely nice, but I don't think I'd be allowed to have it in my dorm anyway. Never thought about that. Oh yes DO check it out! It's soooo good, and the next season is coming out in a month. I'm so excited! Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries is also fantastic - it's probably one of my favorite shows out there right now, and I highly recommend it. Lol oh gosh I'm always so worried about my bag searched! I feel like I need to carry a prescription around with me so no one questions it XD See, I AM funny! GOOD! My mom hates it lol, but she's a stick in the mud!

One of my history prof's recommended Miss Fisher's to me recently, I really do need to watch those because they look right up my alley. RIGHT?! Like I don't want to carry around six bottles, I just need to have some emergency help pills on me. Gah. Also, yes, as I said I think it's really important to laugh about stuff. If you can't laugh about it, you'll just be miserable all the time. Kind of along the same lines, have you ever seen the British show The Last Leg? It started as a show to cover the Paralympics in 2012, but has become a weekly show. Two of the three hosts have disabilities, some more obvious than others and they're really funny and self-depricating, plus they do a lot of charity and give exposure to athletes with disabilities. It's a bit political, so I don't know how you feel about that, but there are always clips on youtube if you want to check it out. I recommend looking for their coverage from Rio this year. I have such respect for the Paralympic athletes because I know what it's like to face bad news, hurdles, etc. and I have never been interested in sport to do myself, but I love watching them and learning their stories. :)

At least having a well-organised WL means that it's easy to use and remove things from when you're done. This site is truly a collector's dream! I hope you have an amazing Lumi too. <3

Its a dessert, some people put fruit on them as pictured lol but I far prefer chocolate. Its so yummy its a meringue basically, my mum has been making them for years and she does them perfectly

OMG yes! Mum done a 'test' run a couple of weeks ago with a home made strawberry sauce, swear my partner was ready to fight someone for the leftovers lol

Ooh, I bet the sauce would be really nice! We just dump lots of fruit all over ours and call it a day. xD Mangoes, strawberries and raspberries are my favourite toppings.

We've had pavlovas for birthdays too this year and it's been amazing. <3

This is so nice of you, thanks for doing this! I love Christmas because everyone just seems so much happier. There's something magical about snow, wearing fuzzy things, window displays, lights, hot chocolate and the feeling of Christmas. Since I live across the country for university, Christmas means I get to go home and see my family and the friends I grew up with :D
