"Thank you so much. That would be to 'The Three Broomsticks, Room 2'. Yes, a card would be lovely, thank you," Thranduil said happily. Now he wouldn't have to sneak back to his family's room, and could continue talking with Snow, and the other two.

" Yes, I don't think I have heard 'Magnus' before," he said, not wanting to correct the boy's attempt to pronounce his name. It wasn't the easiest name in the world to say properly, but he wasn't going to embarrass him in front of his lady friend either.

Thranduil filled out the card with "I love you" and placed it with the arrangement. He nodded, and hoped his mom would think his dad had been up early and got these for her. That would give him more time to be out and about Hogsmeade without them.

He smiled as he took the beautiful Iris, with the accenting ribbon. "This is wonderful, thank you," he said sincerely, " how much do I owe you for all of this..?"

"You are most kind," Thranduil said, handing her 3 galleons, "please accept this with my utmost gratitude, for all of your wonderful help."

Thranduil happily walked back over to Snow and her little group. He smiled at Snow and held out the Iris tied with a yellow ribbon to her. "For you, my dear Snow, thank you for everything." His eyes were bright and clear, and full of emotion. " I wouldn't be here, with this chance at happiness, if it wasn't for you."

(( OOC all I saw when you said the venders would catch up was them flailing and running down the street after costumers! Then again I just got up!))

(( - Nut Lady (Lydia)) Snow turned back to the lady holding Duddits "ooOOoh I do like hazelnuts..but I think my favorite nut is a pistachio." she blushed a little bit. "Whenever I get around them I cant seem to stop eating them! they are delicious! Also I was wondering if you have any of your famous holiday brittle out? or your spiced pecans? " She smiles at the lady politely while Duddits tries to eat one of the red and white peanut bags. Snow sighs "and if its not to much trouble maybe one of your red and white peanut bags? just the bag..Duddits likes they crinkle sound."

((Flower Lady (Jen)) *Snow looked over at the flower cart longingly. She LOVED flowers and definitely would have to check out that cart.

Snow smiled at Magnus "Duddits likes you. Ive tried to teach him to be a bit more wary of people...but you have a similar smell to me...so he probably thinks your safe. It is a pleasure to meet you properly. Ive seen you and...Katsumi about but" sighs "Ive been unsure. I get a bit panicked meeting new people."

Snow turned to Kat. "Its a pleasure to meet you. Do you shake hands or bow?" Snow gave a smile not wanting to startle the girl "Im sorry if my features threw you off...Thranduil and my family are trying to encourage me to...not be afraid to be myself. I can hide them again if it would make you more comfortable." "Im sorry to hear about the goose, I can imagine it getting sick. Me grandma and I will bring corn to a wildlife sanctuary near by to feed the wild ducks and geese that live there. The more unique types get a special diet...at least thats what the volunteers told me."

Snow smiled shyly, her ears still down and back a bit and took the flower "Thank you!, Its so good to see you. I didnt expect...a lot of this." motions to him. "I know you told me about the veela part, but your so tall! ummm yes I think Duddits knows hes a cutie and is trying to get away with things. Hes taking to his harness well though..and I made a wee sweater for him as its getting nippy out. I saw they make special booties for their feet and thought about looking for some for him. How are your parents and you?" she gives a little sniffle. "Dont get too close I dont want to get you sick. Theirs a bug going about amongst the students." She gave another smile

Thranduil laughed quietly. " I think we have already been close enough for me to catch whatever you have, Snow...and if it's going around, I will certainly catch it sooner or later anyway." He turned his attention to Duddits. " He is a little show stealer, isn't he..? He reminds me of Murdy...who has to be the cutest center of attention in the room." Thranduil smiled warmly at the little duck.

He turned back to face the couple. "Are we keeping you, or are you joining us..? I passed a number of eateries on my way from the Inn, and it reminded me that I haven't had breakfast. I was about to ask Snow if she wanted to join me for a meal. You are welcome, of course."

"Oh wow! thank you so much Mam!" she eager tries some of the pistachios and he eyes go HUGE. "Those...are...delicious...I dont think they are going to make it back to the school with me!" Snow chuckled. "I love how they blend so well! So I will definitely want a bigger bag! For my mum Im thinking 8 ounces will do her." She smiles and winks at the lady. "She always tells me never to get more then pound for me Dah...but does the brittle hold up well? Like if I hid it from him and brought them out in small amounts as surprises?"

"Oh!!! did you bring you cats with you or are they still at home? Is Murdy as soft as he looks? Hows Kiki?" She sets Duddits down as he is getting squirmy and goes to fidgeting with her tail. "I was just finishing up my purchases at the nut vendor. This nice lady has my whole family hooked on one nut or another. Do you remember how I told you Dah ate all his brittle in a fort night? This is the lady who makes them. So I was picking up some for me family as sneaky treats."

She smiles. " Yes..Im sure you have picked it up...I swore I almost got over it..then bam..caught it again!" She offers him some of the pistachios to try. "These are SO delicious!"

Realizing that she hasnt eaten anything but pistachios she looks up at Thranduil. "Ohhh was there a restaurant that caught your eye?"

I am happy you liked them!" Lydia set her basket on a near by bench and started looking for her pecan bags. "I have 6 or 10 ounce bags. Which one would you prefer? The pistachios come in 10 ounce bags." She grabbed a bag of each for the girl to inspect.

"That works and them being in small packages helps as well. I dont think he means too eat so much." looks at her pistachios. "Im starting to wonder if this is why I eat so many pistachios!" She smiles. "I think the 10 ounce bag will do if you have them...same witht he pecans if they come in 1 6 or 10..I will take the 10. My Gramma used to adore your cinnamon almond too, but as shes getting older they are a bit rougher on her teeth." she smiles a little sadly "I know she misses them at times, but also with the sugar...she cant have as much."

Thranduil said " Yes, the kitties are with me, we couldn't possibly leave them at home, they would not stand for it. " He chuckled softly. "I am a bit biased as to how soft Murdy is, because as you know, Kiki has that bunny soft fur, but there are times Murdy's fur surprises me with it's softness. They are both doing well, probably asleep right now. I fed them before I stepped out."

Thranduil turned to look at the nut vendor, then nodded. "Yes, I remember you telling me that. How wonderful of you to be restocking the treats for them."

He looked thoughtful. " I would like to try out the Italian place before I leave, but there were a number of places I wouldn't mind going to...as long as they have a vegetarian option, I am fine..my big meal won't be until later on anyway, " he said with a smile.

He was genuinely happy, but he felt as if his face was going to freeze this way. He hadn't been smiling this much in a long time, and his muscles were starting to ache.

*she smiled kindly and paid with a nice tip. "Thank you so much...youve been so kind...my grandma told me stories about nuts when I was little..Is your business a family business? She used to work at the bakery at Piacenza and would stop to get nuts after work at least 3 times a day...then again I think she got her nuts from you guys are well for cooking...but I could have my stories muddled." she thinks, Duddits was now asleep literally on her foot.

Snow picked up her sleeping duck "I think hes tuckered himself out.." and shifted the tote with her nuts. "Well if we both have a bit of a sniffle..made something spicy? They have a Spanish, Latin American, Carribean place that Ive eaves dropped is good." She smiles. "Though there are going to be many carts I would like to look at! If you want to shop about with me afterwards?" she thinks..."I could see liking both cats furs...I mean..I love how many different types they are and that they are making faux options now..I saw this fluffy shaggy faux fur blanket one of the Slytherins had...he said it was classified as bear..."

Thranduil considered Snow's logic about spicy food, and pulled out his phone to look up some of the types of dishes he wasn't familiar with. " I will just be a minute, Snow, I am looking up Caribbean and Latin American cuisines, as well as Tapas...I am not familiar with them." After a couple of minutes of looking at delicious foods with ingredients he would love, he put his phone away.

"Yes, absolutely, I would love to go there, what about you two ?" he said, looking at Magnus and Katsumi.

While he waited for them to decide, he turned his attention back to Snow. "Yes, there are a lot of places I wish to visit here as well, shopping sounds lovely after we eat. Of course, you must come and meet the kitties and my parents at some point," he said quietly. "I adore faux fur, they have really come a long way with the quality. I have quite a few faux fur blankets and throws at home, the kitties love them too."

We still provide nuts for the restaurant. They have the Squirelly Nut Gelato there. It is my favorite. They mix hazelnuts with banana gelato and chocolate syrup then they add a waffle cookie on top with marshmallow flavored whipped cream." Lydia smiled and pocketed the money. "I am glad your family are such fans. I will tell Nan Kerr about you. She will be so happy her original recipes are still appreciated!"

"As do I, regarding the fur..I love how soft its getting now! and its either spicy food or bland...just because Ive been off. OOOh I would love to meet your kitties and parents...hopefully I will do ok with them.." looks nervous. "So...I took your encouragement...I think its going well..regarding showing my "other side" pets Duddits gently

"Ooooh that gelato sounds delicious! I will have to check it out! My friend here will have to roll me back to school!" She chuckles. "Please do send well wishes to your family from mine...I hope she is doing well. and I think youve done wonderfully with the expansion of the business! Its wonderful!"

"I think it is going well, too. I am glad you are trying to relax and be yourself, " Thranduil said. He knew that this was hard for her, and she was unsure because it was not something she did all the time. "I think people are going to stare, of course, but, " he added with wink, " we can always pretend they are staring at me."
