She giggled and punch him playfully in the arm "it is all in the past, my friend" Gaia started opening the note "Where is Katsumi?" she asked as she started reading the note and stared with her mouth open rereading the note. "Chrisof that name is familiar. I guess a visit is in order before I go up to the castle. Thank you Magnus." She returned to her old self pocketing the note. "Want to meet up with Harper and Aquilino at the art stall? I want to get a custom for my Nan before Freya stops taking requests. All though she did promise no matter what I could have mine." Gaia was rambling and thinking as she grabbed Magnus arm and steered him in the art lady direction.

Lee counted out the money, and sure enough, he only had a few sickles left. He was still getting used to the British wizarding money.

"No, thank you for the offer, though. I can carry it, " he said, putting away his coins pouch. He took the box from the man.

Lee repeated the directions the man gave him, just so he was certain he had heard them correctly. "Alright, thank you...and Happy Holidays, " he said with a smile.

Lee's eyes returned to their usual hazel, and he began heading back the way he had come, making his way to Gringotts.

He laughed and dodged her playful punch attempt. "She was afraid o' buying out the bookstore, so we planned on meet back up later." He laughed as she pulled him along without waiting for him to reply. "Sure, though at some point I need ta see that jewelry vendor."

He smiled at Gaia told about her acid pop order and her shopping. His friend was always like a sunbeam. Then he saw Freya and beamed. Wow a centaur. Magnus have half a smile, hanging back, uncharacteristically shy.

"Huh? Wha? No...it ain't about werewolfness," he said shaking his head. "Its just that she's you know... got pretty fur an' I..." he looked at the floor embarrassed.

"I've love ta." He handed her the book and started peering at her art. "Its amazing, I see the way you form your strokes. You've got a lot of movement but its controlled, its fluid. Its alive. Van Gogh has some similar ones but not so...earthy."

Lee made his way back toward the Inn, following the man's instructions. He glanced in the window of Las Palmas and saw a man wearing mistletoe on his head. 'well, that certainly is festive,' he thought.

He peered down the two narrow streets as he walked past. So different than what he was used to, so much like something out of 'A Christmas Carol ' or something like that...from a different time at least.

Lee walked on in and took care of withdrawing a rather large sum of coins. He put the heavy coin pouch into his jacket, and walked back out into the the cold air.

He decided he would see what sort of shops were in this area.

Fade stepped out of the tea shop and back into the street. A large bag hung from his arm containing all the purchases he had made that day. He was still in search of a bag with some sort of extension charm in place. Or at least something he could try and charm himself, although last time he tried things didn’t exactly go as planned. Rounding the corner he paused when he spotted Magnus () and talking to a centaur. “Wow…” He said breathlessly, his words visible in the chilly air. “Er, I mean.” He stepped closer. “Hey guys.” He switched his bag to his other hand, the thing was getting a bit heavy. “Where’s Kat?”

"'Ey, mate, figured I'd see you 'ere" the grin broadening, "She's aviodin' the bookstore and we 'aven't met back up yet. Gaia 'ere told me recently that Pop 'as a pair o' twin sisters... and guess what? They are our 'pets so ta speak. They are ours to name and take care of whenever we visit." He opened his coat and pulled the wee toy out, it was an expandable pocket. He handed a little unicorn toy to Fade. "I know its early, but this is what she looks like, minus 'er mane which is enchanted to change colours wif you. Sorry, I 'ad to steal some 'o your 'air from your comb ta make the charm work." He handed Fade the toy which had a little bow tied on her tail.

Fade just sort of stood there, his mouth hanging open slightly with a sort of shell shocked look about his face. Slowly he reached for the toy his friend held out to him. There were about ten trillion questions circling his brain, but no so much as a coherent one made it past his lips. Suddenly the cold air wasn’t such a bother. Instead he could feel a weird warm sort of joy spreading from the toy and into his hands.

“So, wait. You are telling me that I get to… take care of an actual real life unicorn?” All the color had drained from his face and as his hair began to change so did the toys. It was a bit overwhelming, having gone from having to keep his secret so close, to sharing it with people who not only embraced his differences, but celebrated them whenever they got the chance. A color changing boy who loved unicorns, what a massive joke that would have been back home. But here he was having a hard time finding a way to properly express his gratitude.

Tears welled up in his eyes but he was quick to brush them away with a sleeve. Finally his feet dislodged from where they had been cemented to the ground, and he gave Magnus and Gaia a big hug in turn. “Thank you guys, seriously, I just… This is the nicest thing. You’re both too nice to me.” Again he wiped his eyes. “I don’t have a way to repay you, yet. I mean, my art is crap but I’ll draw you a million things. Or do your homework for the rest of our lives.” Now he was rambling, his eyes glued to the toy in his hands. Just for fun he changed his own hair from blue to green to pink to purple and back watching as the toy mimicked every shade he tried.

It would be weird to just give out unicorns... also pretty sure illegal, but dad agreed you can come visit at any time. He said for the summer holiday you guys should come so we can expand the stable. He is thinking perhaps a unicorn entrance from the forest. That way only the unicorns can go through it and such. Freya here said she will help! She is sort of my dad's assistant I guess. This is also new since I had no idea Freya was working at the farm." Gaia giggled in excitement. Now they all had unicorns. Well sort of.

"Alright, that sounds fine by me." She said, adjusting her scarf as she followed the man inside.
