Elizabeth was relieved that she got included in the little group so quickly. As she was new, she decided to listen to the conversations and took a sip of her orange juice. That was her way of getting to know new people. She waved Snow and her new friend Nik a short good-bye when they left, feeling a little bit insecure, being the only one of her house on the table again, but she quickly noticed that there was no reason to feel nervous as the group seemed really nice. When there was a silent moment when the others were eating, she decided to introduce herself as it seemed rather impolite to just sit there and say nothing. Manners mattered to her pretty much and took off her beanie, although she didn't have to. "I'm Elizabeth, by the way", she said and half-smiled.

(OOC; sorry, I must admit that I was playing Pokemon the whole day. :'D )

Nik looked thoughtful " well, you know, it's commercialism, its produced the attitude of use it once, toss it away when it's no longer what you want, get another one. But," he laughed, his eyes twinkling, "don't get me started on that subject."

"Oh, are you alright ?" he said, looking down at her, concerned. "We can slow down our walking to a meander, if you like," he said, grinning. " I don't mind, it's more time I get to spend with you 'alone' "

The his eyes hardened. "he sent you the money back..? what an ungrateful little bas..." he abruptly cut himself off, and continued the tirade in his head. She was tired, and didn't need to hear his rant. Bloody kids.

Snow looked up at him. "Its going to take time for me to get used to your creeperiness." she chuckles "and well it was a nice letter, he apologized and all and knows Im having a hard day as well. They arent bad kids...just..sometimes trying." Snow was a forgiving person, she knew people had their own stuff to deal with. She looked at Nik "I like to use things till they can no longer function for their original purchase, then see if I can turn it into something new. I like quality in a product. So I hope that makes sense."

Snow slowed a bit. "Its just sometimes..all the interaction is a drain on me. I hope that makes sense and then Im coming off a cold or flu or something."

Snow looked to the pretty lady with the Cajun accent promoting candles. She hadnt had a decorative candle in years. "Hello, what can you tell me about your candles?"

Snow still held Niks hand looking intrigued"

Nik laughed "Well, yes, you do. Being creeper-y is a big part of who and what I am. "

Nik listened to Snow and nodded as she talked about using items until their original use was gone, and then finding a new use for them. "yes, that makes perfect sense."

Nik stopped with Snow when they heard the lady selling candles. He was happy to head over to her wares and see what she had to offer. He loved candles.

((shovels her food into her mouth so she can type!! NOM NOM NOM))

She followed the lady and Nik over. "Oh! we were looking for the tree lot as well! its been a while sense Ive looked at candles, not just for practical uses..." She had excitement in her eyes.

~ Fade shook his head in response to Snow’s question, () wishing it were so simple as a spell. “Not exactly, I have a condition. Er, well I guess they call it an ability here.” He used air quotes around the word ability. “I’m a metamorphmagus like my grandmother. Only I’m not really all that good at being one…” Since black was the color topic at hand he focused on it and his hair washed from a soft blue to midnight black, all except the two blonde streaks in the very front, now extremely noticeable. “I can sorta change my face up, but I can’t keep it that way for very long… Hands are easier, but…” He held up his left hand and it seemed to change and elongate until it more closely resembled a werewolves long clawed paw. As his eyes moved away it quickly it change back. “Yeah like I said, not the best.” His hair had begun to change as well, assuming a greyish tone before becoming a soft blue with silver undertones once again.

It was cool of to pay for their food, but Fade still felt a little guilty about it, like he usually did when anyone did anything nice for him. “See you guys.” He gave a short wave and turned to finish the last of his deliciously fizzy and very free drink.

He was getting pretty full, and the idea of walking off the stuffed feeling was starting to appeal more and more to him. Only at the risk of seeming rude, he leaned back in his chair and took in the conversation around him. When the quiet girl Elizabeth spoke up and introduced herself he smiled. “I’m Fade. Nice to meet’cha.”

Snow watched enthralled "Wow! thats really neat! I think you are doing quite well...do you find yourself changing with your emotions? I havent read much on metamorphmagi, from what I understand they are quite rare. Oh! and do those light streaks always stay the same? Like a birthmark?" she felt a little embarrassed being fascinated, but she couldnt help it. You can always read a book and get the jest of a power, but meeting someone with it, gives you the opportunity to actually ask some of the more unusual questions, politely of course. She still wanted to ask what hair products she used and if it was hard having so much of it. She always looked so shiny and soft though.

When Snow and Nik left she seemed tired but happy. "Just need some fresh air, enjoy the nuts!"

(Back at the candle shop and tree lot)

Snow looked at the different holders. "Do you use all different types of wax? I know bees used to be popular but with the declining in the species..." she trailed off. "Oh! Do you have those salt or crystal holders? I hear they are great." Duddits was trying to mimic the ladies lovely laughter.

"You can get lost in the tree lot?" this had also peeked Snows curiosity.

Nik looked at the candle holders and thought about custom candles. He would love to have some personalized scent ones made for himself.

"yes, if you have some of those himi salt candle holders, I would be interested as well, and do you do personalized scents..?"

Nik looked at the candle lady. "How is it that you can get lost in a tree lot..? It is like some sort of twisted holiday maze or something..? Is there a charge to walk through it..? " Nik's eagerness for something unusual was clearly showing, and he gave Snow a quick smile before he turned back to the lady.

EDIT:

Just then, Nik's phone rang. Annoyed, he looked to see who was calling, and it was his Mother. He let it go to voice mail. After a minute, it rang again, and it was his Mother again.

"Excuse me, Snow, I have to take this..." and he walked away, clearly yelling "WHAT !! " when he answered the phone. He lit a cigarette and paced back and forth, agitated. "Well, that's not MY bloody problem, is it..?" and began grumbling about in Russian, every once in awhile yelling. Finally he hung up with a loud expletive in Russian, and stormed back over.

"I'm sorry, I have to go. Mother has...a situation...that I have to help her with." Nik handed her a bunch of galleons and said "buy yourself something nice, I'll not get a chance to get that kiss after all.." and walked away.

((There is a tree section in the lot where the trees move and regrow. You can use reducto on a tree and you can watch it grow. The solution to not having to cut all the trees. Benjamin is a Squib so he can't do magic, so if you get lost I will come get you tomorrow XD))

She made her way from the nut stand toward the group of pines, cedars and firs. She could smell the fresh tangy scent even through the cold winter air. She tightened her scarf and rubber her nose. It was getting really cold out. She wanted to check at the supply of trees as the season for them was nearly here and she wasnt sure she would be going home this year.
