I'm a Brit so I don't really celebrate thanksgiving but I do love autumn, my favourite is a crisp walk through the park when all the leaves are falling down, and of course a warm drink and being all cosy inside on the dark evenings ^u^

I live in Iceland where we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but my absolute favorite fall activity would be when I prepare some hot chocolate and some home baked goodies, meet up with good friends and heading out into nature for a day. I take my camera and take images of the beautiful, golden and red colored nature landscapes, birds, sunsets and northern lights.

Pinging because she might enjoy this!

thank you so much for holding a giveaway :D

As I am not from the USA and hence we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Germany, I remember that my father and I always went hiking when the woods colors changed. We would visit some rock formations near our village, called Buchsteine (Bookstones), also known as Wilhelmsteine/Wiliamstones as they are named after Wiliam I. of Orange-Nassau. Once we reached our destination, we would grill twist bread and sausages, having some fun, laughing togehter. I always loved these hiking tours c:

I have done geochaching a few times, too :D the best geocache we once found (also did this with my dad) was when we visited Spain - there was a geocache on the prime meridian (sadly I can't remember the name of the place :c )

do you want to participate, too :)? check out the first post!

Fav Thanksgiving tradition is the entire day - my large extended family conglomerates at an aunt's house, and everyone brings a mix of American thanksgiving food and Vietnamese dishes. Often the American foods have Viet influences too! All of the cousins, including me, get to pet the big spoiled cat.

I think my favorite thanksgiving tradition is when my family retells absurd and ridiculous versions of the "thanksgiving story"--usually spins on various fairy tales, like the three little pigs. It's always pretty funny and enjoyable.

Don't celebrate Thanksgiving here. Don't really have a favorite fall activity either. What qualifies as a "fall" activity?

I guess I can say my favorite...fall...activity is raking up all the leaves that fall in my backyard.

there's a tagged photo of them somewhere on my fb but I'm too lazy to find it. The dish: Drooling sauce dumplings. curry or cranberry filling variety

what we did for a friend's comicon bake sale was make curry bread (they looked like the dumplings with the pinched ruffles). My friend left me in charge of packaging and slitting air pockets for the curry bread. I cut 2 small seams on the short side and 1 large one long seam on the long-side on each so when they cooked the curry boiled over the seams cracking a huge smile or looking like it was experiencing a hangover. Instead of pie we made cranberry ones last Thanksgiving.

thanks for ping!

Pillsbury crescent rolls! Its not a holiday meal without crescent rolls. Our budget is always tight and they're a bit pricey to buy just whenever we get a craving so we only get them during the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter).

This one is a bit out of the normal but mixing the stuffing. It's like mom's entertainment for the day, haha. I don't eat it but I love to mix it together because we squish it together by hand. I mean come on...who doesn't love to play with their food, haha.

This looks fun, thanks for the ping. =)

Hmm, let's see, my family never did a whole lot over fall or Halloween or anything, but at least for Thanksgiving we did always have a nice fun big meal with the entire family. And my absolutely favorite part of the meal was the awesome homemade bran muffins my Gran makes every Thanksgiving and only for Thanksgiving. It has always been a very fond memory I always look forward to each and every year. =3

Thank you for doing this giveaway! <3

I get together with my family on my mom's side every Thanksgiving. My family is German/Canadian/American. Two dishes that are very German is sauerkraut and meat salad. The sauerkraut is not to sour like if you have it on a bratwurst. It has bacon and onion. It is yummy. Meat salad is chunks of bologna, with diced apple and pickles and the sauce is mayo/sour cream/mustard. I am sure it sounds weird. But, I LOVE it. I grew up eating it.

My friend pinged me for the giveaway. Thank you for doing this. It is very generous of you both.

I have two different Thanksgiving dinners. One with my grandma and her side of the family and one with my parents and my brother. My mom is an amazing cook. All her food is awesome. The turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, roasted corn, homemade rolls and apple pie. I am hungry now. lol My grandma is an ok cook. I like the turkey, but it is usually dry. lol

I dont have many friends and I think the might have been pinged already. Thanks again.

Since Spaniards like me don't celebrate Thanksgiving's Day, I'll tell you about my favourite autumn activity, which is walking around the Seville city centre and take a look at the trees, especially orange trees, because it is when oranges mostly grow in the trees and when they start to ripen and go from dark green to their characteristic colour. And occasionally, I'd like to have some hot chocolate while walking around. :)

I'm pinging , BTW.

Yay happiness!! ^_^ <3 <3 <3 Thank you for spreading joy and offering up prizes <3 Very cool.

I'd say my favorite thing is picking out what desert to make for everyone and seeing their reaction when they try it out. Sometimes it's fantastic sometimes not so much... LOL But it's fun to experiment and attempt to give my family something new and delicious to try. Life is busy and it's not often we can all be in one place. So having everyone there for once, trying something for the first time is a fun thing to experience together, even if it's just food.

I'm also Canadian! Aaannd we're also Chinese so we don't exactly officially celebrate it. I feel like every few years or so we just go out somewhere to have a nice dinner together. :3

My favourite thing about fall is the idea of transitioning into colder months which I absolutely love! I'm always in awe of how the sky looks during this time of year. It feels so surreal walking under a gradient of purple-orange-yellow sky. w Gaahh!! I wish I'd been able to take a picture then. I also love being able to finally cuddle up in blankets and cozy sweaters and socks! ❤️

We haven't celebrated Thanksgivings (with a turkey xP) in a really long time...;A;

Something fun and fall-y I did this year was going to the pumpkin patch with the boyfriend and another couple. The one we went to was almost like a festival of sorts, with a train ride, lots of animals, several food trucks, and thematic entertainment. The "patch" is located next to a local vineyard, so that's where we went after getting our pumpkins. It was a muddy mess, but it was a fun one! It'd definitely something I want to make a tradition out of! ❤️

(My first pumpkin carving I did myself, with template of course. xD)

Thanks for the contest. I favorite Thanksgiving memory was having Thanksgiving at my Grandparents house but also I do remember being together for Christmas with the entire family. Haven't really done much for Thanksgiving lately but do get invited some times to other family members homes.

Hello all. If you haven't seen this come right in. And read the first post.
