Hahaha that's exactly what I was thinking would make it perfect! I swear 95% of my avs must have the Black Pantyhose on, they're just the catch all solution when a colour is a little too bright.

I reaaaaally want to add some hat/ head layer to this HA :c Went through all the items from subeta but couldn't find one that I was super happy with... but maybe I missed something!

Out of all items, these ones were the ones that somewhat went with my aviator/navy color theme: ^ which it was more navy-ish ^ under base layer + another hat item to cover what is shown ^ .... eh ^ very simple

Any item suggestions or input on those items^ :o Or maybe keeping as it is? :o

Of the items you listed, I like the Professor New hat best with it. On point for color and lends a nice silhouette. If you want something smaller, you might consider the . I like what you've got going on here though!

I may as well ask for some advice on this one as it's been sat in my wardrobe for a week and I haven't had the courage to go back. The main drive here was to use both the Solid Arcrystal - I've made avatars with the other two arcystals so I kinda want to finish the set - and the Recycled Glass Suncatcher - I received it as a present for Luminaire and haven't had a chance to use it yet. That's it, really! I'm really open to all advice and ideas here. Obviously she's missing shoes at the moment, which feels relatively minor, but yeah. I'm not sure if the colour scheme, hair, etc etc all mesh together.

TOM hey I love how this is looking so far! The gradient in the hair is delicious. I think the flow overall is pretty great. Definitely go for more of that teal and beige from the dress onto the head area imo. I'd suggest items but I think I'm terribly outdated in terms of knowing items nowadays lol. A small gripe I have is the white spots on the face cus they make the face look oily but at the same time maybe you're going for the fierce highlighter look so IDK anyway it's a great start. Possibly go for iridescent item for shoes? Haha so many iridescent cws out there

looking v nice.............. but i am not really feeling the burgundy, maybe switch out to the basic orchid tights? or is it because the seashell layered on top of it? either i think it needs a bit more of the fuchsia pink, like maybe the basic coral tights over the orchid ones? idk i havent tested to see what those look like together but it might be a similar shade. face is looking a little flat, NEEDS MORE BLUSH!! DOUSE HER IN BLUSh

Thanks gals! You both touched on a lot of stuff that was bothering me - those face dots eugh (thanks no thanks Lyb Body Paint), weird magenta (I have no idea how I arrived at that colour) and face in general - and I've cobbled together v1.5. Definitely need to tweak the tights/chest a little more and decide which head item I want to use (they look weird together imo) but I'm bored of looking at her now hah.

So I think I like it better without the parasol- I don't think it looks good in front of her face, and the overall shape in the background seems distracting. I might just have to make a different entry for this week. Any thoughts? Am I being too picky? :'P

I agree, I think the umbrella is distracting and a tad clashy regardless of what layer it's on and without it, I can see you've got a STUNNING avatar with lots of small details and textures! I think it all gets lost with the umbrella added. I didn't notice how lovely the hair and head were until I saw the second avatar, so my vote is for without!

I've done this before if it helps, making something for the weekly challenge only to end up removing the one item actually required, lol.

@ Casey Thank you for the input and kind words! I do that all the time, I get excited for a particular item, create a cool HA, and inevitably end up kicking the item I was trying to use. I did it twice more trying to use that darn white umbrella, lol. Time to go in a new direction! Thanks so much!

Hmmmmmm yeah that's a tough one! I really like both the second and third choices. The second one really draws attention to the face but the third feels more balanced and brings the outfit together more completely. I think I'd probs opt for the third for overall cohesion. Though I like the second a lot too. 8) how unhelpful.

I am as undecided as Thomas, but I prefer the second because it feels less heavy in the area and this outfit needs one area that isn't too busy. If it were just the flowers and the bit that hangs into the face, I'd say yeah to the headpiece, but with the sticks and the green leaves under the middle flower, it just adds too much.

I'm no pro but I also like the second one, I like the extra visual weight at the bottom for balance, the over shape is nice, and it's not too busy. I like the third one too but the pendant hanging over the eyebrows bothers me a bit? Which is a shame because the color and texture of the headpiece is really nice and fits well.
