ugh the nose is only there when it wants to be apparently, but you get the idea

A few Autumns ago I went for an expedition around our property. We live on a farm, so there's a lot of neat places to search. The woods were absolutely perfect, bathed in golden light that caught the reds and oranges of the leaves... It was so beautiful.

I think the biggest adventure I ever had was my trip to Israel. It was my first time overseas and an amazing trip for so many reasons. It was also extremely exciting and rather fast-paced, so just about everyone was wiped by the time we got to the layover in Russia on our way back home.

The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group

Each year I participate in a scavenger hunt called GISHwhes, and this particular item involved creating a 'Hipster Kilroy' and getting 100 likes/notes on it. That was only aprt of the adventure- liking/reblogging/favoriting as many of the other teams as I could, because they help you, you help them. I guess you could say it was the 'GISHwhes way'?

Challenge Entry

About 10 years or so ago, we went whale watching in Hawaii. We ended up getting to stay out there a lot longer than we were supposed to, because the whales stayed too close to our boat so the captain had to keep the engine turned off.
It was really fun, and my brother took a picture a lot like this one! I can't find the one he took right now though, so I pulled one off the internet. :P
20 minutes left for the avatar challenge

I choose a pic of a plane, since my biggest adventure yet was flying to my aunt on my own. As I do require assistance to get around the airport fast enough it was a very big deal for me to manage this.
My Toyhou.se I am always in need of art.

No more Challenge entries. I'll update later.

For my TUESDAY entry I picked an image of a shallow creek in the woods (not my own photo). When I was younger (7-9 years old?) I used to explore a lot in the woods. There was a shallow creek in the woods behind the neighborhood and me and my old friend used to hang out back there a lot. There was a log we would walk over the creek to get to a spot that had a tree stump to sit on. We walked so far once that we exited the woods and found a nearby farm.
Adventure Challenge (Tuesday)
Back in 2003, I traveled to Guatemala with a group to help the orphans of the Ogar Shalom foundation in Sumpango and we also did a bit of tourism to discover the culture and history of the country. We went to the markets in Antigua, crossed Atitlan lake between Panajachel and Santiago the Atitlan and climbed the Pacaya volcano, among other things. All was good and wonderful! Pacaya is an active volcano, it was an awsome experience. It erupted a few years prior to our visit and erupted again a few years after :P The climb from the forest covered base to the ashen final cone where the crater is located was fun even if very demanding. The Omen Island volcano plot did bring back a lot of good memories :P
So here's the picture. Not mine though... automatic kodaks did pretty bad pictures. :( (hope the picture is gonna show...)
