We have the Tassimo since ... 3 years? And we wont miss it :) Since we dont drink that much coffee and only on weekends this is the perfect solution for us My bf loves the Milka hot cacao drinks and I enjoy various coffee specialities. The capsules are a bit expensive (4,19€ per package) but as we dont drink it everyday I think this is ok :)

Sunburned? I am jealous!!! We have about 15cm of snow laying around XD It's also snowing from time to time, last friday the traffic was paralysed, so no work, no school no grocery shopping XD But we are doing fine, hot tea, coffee and cacao, a fluffy knitted cardigan and our fireplace is the best method to endure these days!

It sounds expensive, yes, but there are 8 disks per package (for example Tassimo Cappucino) or when having more like espresso, youhave 16 disks per package - that makes 0,50 cent per cup of coffee or 0,26 cents per cup of espresso :) and in regular times, the packages are on sale for 3,89, which reduces the price on 0,48 cents or 0,24 per cup :) And in the end its freshly brewed coffee ^^

well, the espresso ones ... as much as it takes to fill a espresso-cup :D normal cups-size I would say? the chocochino fills a nearly 200ml cup I think the quantity stays the same as senseo pads :(
