awake since 6 am (right after my cat used my head as a take-off board ... so since nearly 6 hrs ^^) When dragging items around, I always have the problem they mix up completely ... for example, hair-item was placed on first place, after I drag the chest-item one place down, the hair-item slips to last place ... and so on ... totally random where they slip to

THOSE PUPPIES ARE SO CUTE I CANNOT. CLEFFY'S LITTLE NOSE. ;u;

welcome, welcome! the more the merrier~~~ ♥♥

omg the wardrobe has been stressing me out so much lately. trying to reorder things is so much of a pain that half the time I just open it up in a new tab (so I can keep what I've done already open and I remember which items/order) and just start over so I don't have to drag anything around and screw it all up and make me want to throw my laptop out a window.

YESYESYESYES exactly! Its evolving to a pain in the arse reordering the items the way you want ... once I got so frustrated I shut down my computer the hard way, grabbing some chocolate and rolling up on the couch ;w;

I still love your siggi-style xD!

Welcome!! I hope you enjoy our randomness. :D

Oh yes it can actually be worse. This little baby only has a cleft nose, not a cleft palette as well. (Which means the separation follows all the way down the nasal passage/throat.) I have already lost one from this litter, it broke my heart. I'm doing everything I can to try to save this baby.

They're chihuahua mixes, so they're gonna be on the smaller side. However, this is a HUGE litter compared to her size/the litters we usually have. There's usually only about four or five. They're only about...twelve days old? Yeah. They were born on the second. (:
I'm having a bit of a scare with Cleffy atm. Her stomach is super swollen and was having a hard time having a bowel movement. She just cries and cries and cries. She finally passed one, but her poor little tummy is still so swollen. D: I don't have money for a vet at the moment, so I've just been keeping her warm and giving her a vet recommended dose (I called) of sugar water. Hopefully she gets better soon. I know sometimes these things just happen, but I have such strong feelings for others...even animals. I can't help but to hurt for this little girl, ya know? I'm trying to stay strong & take care of her the best I can. & of course Google doesn't help anything, only showing me the worst. ):

Here's to a sleepless night hoping she'll make it to morning. <3

[edit] I've also been trying to stimulate her to go potty, since the mama has pretty much abandoned it.

ok yep, also using firefox ... maybe I should try chrome then, too x:

Maybe I will nap later the day ... or drink much coffee :D

oh no :( I mean, I treated a lot of children with cleft nose/lip but I assumed it was a human degeneration sigh But at least it's not life-threatening (at least for humans) Uh swollen tummy? Have you also tried out a colon massage? gently rubbing his tummy :) this also helps with constipation, giving some movement for the intestine, helping to deflate, the warm will help the bowel to relax, not producing more "air"

That's all the vet really could tell me over the phone without bringing her in. ): I live in a smaller city, but just a vet visit is still pretty expensive. I've been doing all the research I can. At this point I'm leaving it to Fate whilst still giving her the best care I possibly can.

Thank you!! I'm trying to get her to sleep now, she just seems restless and uncomfortable. She seems to like her belly rubbed, so I've been doing that.

Hahaha yes, yes you could have any one you wanted!!

Try out to warm up a fluffly piece of cloth, it can be a towel or anything else that does not scratches on the skin so much - but do not make it wet (this may have contra-productive effects on this lil body), wrap him into this warm cloth and gently rub his belly :) In human care this is also the best method to combat constipations :) Warm and massages - better than any medication, as it wont stress the body too much

Yes, this is exactly what I've been doing. (: I've been putting it in the dryer first to keep it warm. She's sleeping now, I have an alarm set in about an hour to try and see if she'll maybe go again.

All the belly rubs!!!

Glad I'm not too out of the loop then! I love it btw. <3 Good choice!

:o One of the potential roles of my future job (speech path) is to diagnose and help with clefts in kids! It scares me that it's often not diagnosed. Hope your pups do well! <3

Welcome! ^_^ It's great to have you with us. :D

I'm so saddened to inform you guys that dear little Cleffy has passed. T-T We think it was a bacterial infection. I know it was probably out of my hands, but I can't help but feel like I should've done more.

My heart is broken. I probably won't be around much today. All I can do is cry.
