yay! that's good. finals week was always weird for me, because it was kind of chilled, but also very stressful!

i'm doing good! i went christmas shopping and bought a lot of candy, so the SS theme seems awesome to me. XD

pretty much, lol. there are 14 different dragons with A TON of color/gene combinations. you can trade or sell them to others or even exalt dragons, which just gives you gold. i have a hard time getting rid of dragons though ;___;

Yeah, I'm super indecisive so I usually end up not picking and then zapping my pets until I find something cool. cx There's just too many colors! I'm glad you like the theme! I love sweet stuff and it seemed appropriate, aha - candy canes and hot cocoa are practically December's mascots here. cx

Ahh, okay, I think I understand! Aw, that's sad. :c My friends joke like that too, though usually it's more along the lines of 'my parents would disown me' if they fail a test. cx Some girls get that sort of crap here too, but usually only from boys who are extremely sexist and disliked outside their own friend group. x3 Ahh, yeah, he majored in microbio but actually knows the material really well. He just... doesn't always know how to make other people understand what he's talking about. cx Aha, really? I guess it's just difficult then! But I'm glad you're good at it, it's important! I actually understand the concepts a lot easier than the math too, so I'm not sure! It's amazing conceptually though, I just don't have the mathematical skill to really be good at it. Aha, really? I had an amazing bio teacher, it was physics that I hated! cx But chem I was much more prone to skipping, it was very easy for me and I got bored.

You guys have such a neat tree, whoa!! I love themed trees. Whenever I'm older, I'll probably have a ton of birds and musical instrument ornaments on mine. cx

It's definitely better than no physics teacher, which happens at plenty of schools here :c He sounds like he did his best. It's good he knew the material. I had a maths teacher that really wasn't that great at maths. Which was fine until we got to the last unit which I underestimated and... well I no longer call myself good at maths xD Props to you for finding Chemistry easy. It almost killed me. Atoms over molecules anyday for me. Wow I actually had a lot of terrible teachers. How did I make it in to any uni. I'm 90% sure my Chemistry teacher managed to have three babies in the two final years before uni. My college was absolutely awful at getting good substitutes so they just left us hanging for most of two years. This is what I get for choosing a 'cool' college instead of a stuffy catholic one like the smart kids haha. I'm really taking the amazing lecturers I have now for granted. I need to start going to office hours and milking them for knowledge!

oh my gosh your tree is so cute! I did a Slytherin tree this year, still making some potions and other ornaments to go on it so it's not completely finished yet, but I'll send pictures when it is. : )

yeah, there's that weird disonance atm. I think it might partly be due some sort of anxiety atm, but i'm trying my best to stay on track and study! oooh, candy! do you guys have advents calenders? i bought myself some sorbet and malteasers recently, so maybe that counts haha

i'm doing my ba in culinary arts :D seems somewhat weird, i know, but we have practical lessons and then things on management, finance, economy and such as well. i however know that i won't be a chef after this! i cannot handle stress at all and the gastronomic industry is like 110% stress. are you still studying? oh, if you need some help for some other events, let me know yeah? I think it'd be cool if we could have our own little event for site-wide events as well, like a treasure hunt for vesnali and such

I've disappeared on hiatus unexpectedly twice now, and then I always get super motivated when I come back before I manage to lose it all again. (Just hoping this time it will last longer.)

And I hope you feel better; I know how it feels to be so tired that you don't feel like doing literally anything, even getting on a laptop or checking things on your phone.

Oh, that's a great idea! I was working on my pets for the longest time, and they're still not done, so maybe I'll pick that back up again. Might get me a pick motivated. Aw thank you! I appreciate the offer. I'm just tired from working. ;; I work most days from 11 to 6 pm PST, but I have to get up at like 7/8 AM to take a series of buses to get there. Same thing back. I usually don't get home most days until 7:30 PM or so. I have today off, and I still got up at 7 AM. /sighs/ How are you though?

That's how I feel. I may come back for an event, but that's it. I'll participate in it, and then just leave until the next one starts. Thank you! Work is just tiring since I have the knowledge of what I'm doing, but I need to actually apply it now. It's only hard since I haven't used what I know for a good three months, so it kind of dwindled a little. But it's fun.

Ugh, right there with you about chemistry! Here in Italy there are different types of high schools, depending on what you plan to do afterwards. it's a very old system and it's been partially renewed since I was a student but back in my times I attended what it's called Liceo Classico, where you basically study mostly literature, story, philosophy, old greek and latin. When it comes to math, physics and chemistry you only do basic stuff but my math/physics teacher (same person teachs both) was great while my chemistry and biology teacher was awful. I have no idea how she got the job in the first place but it made me hate the subject so much that I still know nothing about chemistry. The simple mention of a "covalent bond" is enough to make me curl into fetal position xD

That's an interesting system. We don't do any Greek/Latin and hardly any Philosophy. I would have liked some. Here (UK) everyone has to do basic science until 16, then you can choose to not do any. I actually had a great science teacher 14-16, otherwise I never would have chosen to do all sciences! Lol I just cringed at covalent bond. I've ended up in an area of Physics that is close to Chemistry so I'll have to get over that. My biology teacher was so bad that she would ask me, during class, if something she said was correct. Hello, I'm trying to learn from you! It's so hard to unlearn something and we had to do that multiple times when she taught us something incorrectly. That being said, the Bio course here is very easy so it didn't actually matter in the end.
