Haha exactly that. Some of the things she says. To be fair to her she never got to go to school :c Not that that helped my parents' views. Though she has lived in three countries! You'd think that would open your mind. It's always super awkward when we meet up with what family that we have in England and they're way more progressive than my parents. My mum just has to hold in how much she disagrees while staring at me xD Actually it's SUPER awkward when it's about getting married. Then I just melt into the floor. Yeah, they help out with labs and such too. But they do get paid! Which is why you should always at least hand in a blank page as homework, so they can buy their beers. I study Physics <3 It's slowly killing me but I love it.

I'm hoarding things because one of my goals for a while has been to get to 15k in my wardrobe, so basically anything and everything I can add, I do. I don't even use/like the majority of it lol so whenever I do actually weed out the unused things, I'm going to have SO MUCH STUFF for sale or to give away. so much. I can't even imagine. Dragons are really cool! That's awesome that you like the color fills, they don't get as much love as they should. I really love the aqua color too, and the cherry kumos is way too cute! Mahars look a little devious to me but I imagine they'd make great characters.

Oh wow. It's crazy how recent some developments are; the idea of someone not going to school is insane nowadays, but it wasn't at all in the recent past. Huh! I'd definitely think living in three countries would open someone's mind a bit, but I guess some people refuse to change. In some ways I understand wanting to stick to your values, but at the same time, I don't see how people don't get that some of those values are pretty backwards. Ahh, yeah, my mom's sister is the token progressive relative in my family. cx She's my favorite, she travels a lot and knows a lot of crazy stuff despite never really going to college (okay, she went to cosmetology school, but still). Is your mother very anti-nontraditional marriage? Ahh, that's kinda neat then! It's a job, so to speak. Do they get paid by the amount of homework they grade or something? Aha, that's really cool! YESSS. I'm entirely too nitpicky about my colors matching, so I have like six million pairs of tights to layer and countless sheer things to try and adjust shades. And I pretty much never use background/foreground stuff, but I have to keep it on the off chance that I might, someday, use it for something. Which is super unlikely. But MAYBE. I'm a silly goose. cx

The state my family are from in India is pretty great with education now (100% literacy whoo) but there's so many girls (and boys) in India who don't get to have a full education :c And even some developed areas culturally don't value educating girls. (Which is why I can't be too mad about being pushed hard academically when I know a lot of girls who got married right out of school!!) My parents had an arranged marriage so unless I am incredibly lucky I'll probably be disowned by the end of my 20s xD OH WELL

Yeah, they're paid per paper. So it's sad when it's a non compulsory piece of work and they're penniless for the week before no one submits anything xD

Most people who hear I do Physics just grimace with horror lol. It is awesome though! I think they just do a bad job advertising it when you're young. And it sucks that most of the cohort ends up male when there's no reason for that. Hopefully it evens out soon.

i think i looked at subetalodge or some place like that where it had the numbers of all the colors, i went with some of the lesser used ones! it makes my pets just a little special, lol. Mahars are proper dragons, imo, so i expect them to be devious & plotting ways to take everyone's things. XD

That's really good!! It always angers me to hear that some places still don't value educating girls, we can do just as much (if not more) for the world than the boys can! I'm actually a weird person to talk to about the getting married right out of school thing though, because I graduated high school in June and am technically engaged, but I'm going to college for the 2017 year too. Not so big on the arranged marriage idea though, that's an odd concept to me. Yeah, physics gets a bad rep, you're right. When I had to take a course on it, it wasn't taught terribly well and probably half the class would fail things regularly, but the teacher definitely tried to make it interesting. He really should've been a biology teacher honestly, he was good at teaching the scientific ideas/concepts behind things, but not the math.

Yeah, the lesser used ones are still super pretty! That's one of the awesome things about the art here: I don't think there's a single color I really dislike. Mahars are a neat sorta dragon! Dragons in general are pretty awesome, and unconventional ones are always gorgeous. ^_^

Ooh congrats! With the girls I'm talking about it's more an extention of not valuing educating girls, and being like 'that's enough now go do what you're supposed to do'. Particularly if you don't get great grades for example. When I was in school we'd often joke that we'd get carted back to Asia if we failed a test. But some girls do! Sorry this became a depressing conversation xD

Having a good teacher is super important for physics. So many schools have to resort to getting chemistry or even bio grads to teach physics, and really you want someone who can answer questions beyond the syllabus. But even though I had pretty good physics teachers, half the class still failed out of physics xD You need passion to get through the pain haha. That's weird that he was better at the concepts, I always thought that was the harder part to teach. Maths is maths is maths. Just get the computer to do it xD I had a really awful biology teacher though. Hers were the first classes I ever skipped. And now I'm a terrible student haha.
