Make the thread, I will come yell at you on it and brainstorm other ways to fix the pool xD I am excited to see how they do the Ontra tbh.
You guys don't need to make another thread! I've got notes written down and what not from previous threads/discussions. :) It's more of a matter of grabbing a programmer when we're not mid-plot or preparing for things like plots haha
Listen...I have rope if you need it to wrangle one xD I'm excited at the prospect of some things changing for how it goes though. If I didn't sell the extras I'd have an army of lifelikes haha. I should just start sticking them all in a gallery :P
I have to agree with what is being said about Monday being a frustrating choice for a boss battle! Why couldn't the boss battle have happened on a weekend? I feel like maybe if the trail portion of the event was shorted (and heaven knows it NEEDED to be), we could've had the boss battle this weekend instead of Monday. Mondays are a bit brutal for most of the user base in terms of participating in an event, it's not like I can just stay up all night battling on a Monday night & not have to worry about getting up early the next day. Just saying. Also, this just happens to be the worst possible Monday for a boss battle, seeing as I have a work event that I have to attend til 9pm.
I understand with how crazy things have been timed. Given that the plot is right at the start of a hectic event schedule, but I'm just stating that the timing of this event has been very frustrating. Don't get me wrong, I am still very thankful that we even had a plot this year it's just that the timing of this event has been very perplexing.

Never mind, I'm an illiterate moron who just woke up with a panic.
You did not miss anything.
The boss battle start at 6PM on the 19th
Yeah, realised that as soon as I had hit the post button :D Me and Monday mornings...
Illiterate moron might be a little strong. Go have a nice cup of joe. :D You deserve it
And weekends are brutal for a good chunk of users too, there's loads of people who are able to participate to a larger degree on the weekdays themselves. It's nice to see them get an advantage for once.
That aside, if there is drastically less people battling like people are predicting that just means that the boss will last longer giving more people a chance to participate.

I wanted to say that I do appreciate that it's on a weekday, too. I'm almost always busy on weekends and usually away from the computer, so any change to the schedule is good for me.
I like how clearly everything has been laid out. More information is never a bad thing to allow us to make a reasoned decision.
I'm really glad we got told in advance. It makes planning a doable thing instead of guessing if you're shit out of luck because you're in a different time zone or have other commitments.
It does seem to suck for the majority of the userbase if comments are any indication. Mon-Tues aka weekdays are probably not a good idea. That being said, it can't be fair to everyone.
Personally I would have loved to have seen what I suggested last time - that these things are activated when we're personally online for x amount of time with warning beforehand. Would be fair to everyone who could get online within a certain duration of the plot regardless of timezone or commitments. But that might not be feasible coding-wise. :C
That, or the "top in tier" and overall damage prizes wouldn't be possible and there'd have to be a different system for prizes all together.
I mean it's literally just activated for you for x amount of hours with x amount of hp like a regular battle opponent .. just when you log onto subeta. So it would essentially be your own personal copy of the boss for the boss battle if that makes sense. There would have to be a re-do of the prize system most likely however. It's a moot point, because it's not going to happen anyway. xD
