Maybe if they would have chosen slightly different times? At least a 10 pm time would have been nice. I am on the west coast so the 6pm time I am still at work and the 10 am time I am getting up for work x.x The only maybe time is the 2 am but that would mean me staying up later than I would like during a work week just to get some battling in. It sucks since I love to battle but oh well =/

Yeah, they're not the best times for me. I'm trying to decide if I want to go for 6pm or 10am, since 2am is just out lol. I actually work this coming Friday night instead of Friday during the day (which works out better for runescape but if these times were for Friday-Saturday instead of Monday-Tuesday there's a good chance I'd miss all 3 battles and/or miss out on a lot of sleep) so I'm especially thankful to not have a weekend boss this specific time around xD

Ugh yeah still bummed about that one since I missed out on the tainted keeper staff =/ I guess it's more accurate to say the boss battles happened towards the end of the week instead of the beginning of the week? Instead of having it on the weekend, I think just the times could have been better. Like I was telling , a 10 pm would have been better than a 10 am or a 6 pm.

I'd be curious to see how many people miss this battle because it's a Monday - Tuesday, or maybe just how well these times actually work out?

I'm off on Tuesday and work Friday through Monday so I'm pretty okay with this. My only battle pet is T5 so I need all the opportunity I can to get as many points as I can.

It's so funny, cause if you mention "at least it's Friday !" a good number of people silently think "aha, yeah, the start of Hell Days." Because weekends aren't all the same. For people working in retail, fast food, bakeries, grocery stores, etc, etc, etc, those are the days where more people come in. As in, the busiest days of the week. If we were all on the same schedule, no one would be there to make people their coffee as we roll our eyes at it taking oh-so-long. No one would be there to ring up the groceries as people whine they won't take expired coupons. No one would be there to get bitched at because people can't return a shirt from a different store.

When Kiyo was released, it was the weekend and I had to work from my phone when I had a bit of time. It sucked, but I got over it. Believe me, it's not the end of the world to not have a site cater to you (this is obviously not to anyone specifically, no, not even you whomever is sitting there prepping their fingers to go off on me).

The fact remains that the majority of users are going to be busy during week days, rather than weekends. If I want to do anything, I have to stay up until 2-3 am to do anything, and I'm ON subeta time. That's ridiculous. Even with us skipping two days (which I heavily disagree with) because of complaints that people were bored and didn't want to do the trails anymore, this battle still would have fallen right in the middle of the work/school week. While it's better for me on wednesday, that still doesn't solve the problem for most people. This seems like such a huge oversight on the part of the staff organizing this event. Your userbase is largely based in people who either have school/university/work during the week days. Why? And I'm not just complaining because it affects me directly. Even if I were free during these times, I'd still be just as upset. There are a couple people posting that this is great for them because they aren't busy on mondays, but the majority of people are. It's still ridiculous that a timed event would be held monday/tuesday instead of friday/saturday or saturday/sunday.

For once, the Subeta gods have smiled upon me. Monday is my day off from work. Had this boss battle happened on a weekend, I would have missed out on it.

I'm very very happy that the boss battle is on a Monday/Tuesday. I work retail and almost never get weekends off or have a shift that lends itself to bosses, which typically start midday I believe. I should be able to get in for a bit on the last wave and maybe the tail end of the first wave if it lasts the expected 6ish hrs.

It's nice that the site is mixing it up a bit with this boss release being during the week.

I mean it sucks, but someone is going to be inconvenienced either way and for once I'm just happy it's not me, because as part of the "always works weekends" group, I get shafted in just about every event in every game because they're almost always held on weekends. In this particular case, I'd have about an hour to battle no matter which time group I went with (and two of those time blocks, my one hour would be the tail end and there's not even a guarantee the boss will last that long), or I'd have to miss out on sleep and I'm already terrible at getting a decent amount of sleep on Fridays (if we got held up for 2 legs of the race, that's actually 4 days, and the battle would start on Friday).

I know that none of this is really anyone's fault, it's just the way my schedule is set up and I'm not trying to argue, I'm just very curious how big the split actually is (and eternally grateful that not only do I have a convenient time to be online for this boss but I also won't have to try and divide my time between two events on a really bad weekend for me to have a boss battle with these times).

I think they want to have all breeds done in the colorfill colors first, and then after, who knows.

Shhhh. I know, it makes me sad. I mean, the colorfill colors are cool and I love seeing the different poses, but I want my grave pets to be wearable because I say so darn it :P I'm hoping soon we can see some of the 'special' colors start coming out - maybe during the relevant seasons/holidays :) -prods staff to drop everything else so we can have more wearable pets-

We have 35 species to go, I think. So, maybe in 2 years from now, we can start thinking about it :)

I'm glad they're not dragging the plot along for another week just so the boss could be on a weekend. I'm already kind of bored after all the mind numbing trail stuff and would like to just keep getting on with things. A week long delay would be terrible.

Aside from that I don't really care what day the boss happens on. Personally, I could make almost any day work if I was a battler (for this specific plot). But that's a luxury most people don't have. No matter what, some people are going to miss it. That sucks but its literally impossible to cater the boss to every single individual user. It sounds like battles have mostly been on the weekends so I'm happy people with busy weekends get a better chance to participate with this one.

The attitude of "screw the people happy with it, what about ME ME ME ME ME" is ridiculous. This isn't directed at anyone in particular but I'm seeing so many news comments and such whining. Weekend workers/students/etc almost always get the really short end with stuff like this, and not just on Subeta. Its extremely common for anything fun or time consuming or event/plot-y to be on the weekend because people just assume whoever their target audience is has weekends off whether or not its true. But the world doesn't revolve around a specific schedule. Not everyone can make weekends and if you can't make weekdays, tough luck.

I still think the entire plot should've happened in summer, when students/teachers/parents had no school to deal with, but beyond that it doesn't matter to me. Some people will always miss out. The only difference is this time the people used to not missing out are the ones with the short end of the stick.

As far as warning goes, how much warning do you really need? Its a plot and we already had battling on the trail. That doesn't guarantee anything but if battling is your thing, I'd assume seeing some pop up in the plot would be enough for you to get prepared just in case. And Elwood has been blatantly hinting at a boss. Do people really expect a schedule now so they can prepare for specific plot steps? That would be so boring, plus it would totally defeat the point of things like competitions and surprises.

Staff already gave away a ton of info so people can be prepared tomorrow. What more do you need?

I WOULD FIX THAT IF I COULD :( I miss them coming out so often too. I mean, it's a lot in the pool and thus my chances are smaller for the ones I still need...but also.....I need them to hurry up so I can have my special colors.

We need to make another thread about that, but there are so many ways they could fix the pool being huge, really. SO MANY.
