I am back to bed now for a while. The best illness isn't good for anything...

We will be picking bits of temple dust out of our clothes and pets fur/skin for weeks to come!

I believe only damage with actual scores will count, but a proper battler can probably advise better!

I imagine that just attempting to fight the temple guardian will count toward participation in this portion of the event, and that you would get any participation prize for that but for the tiered prizes, it's total damage points accumulated so to get the prizes for that you actually need to do some damage. Try the negating pylonic, and a freezing weapon together with a damage weapon (and a scroll if you have any) on your first hit to see if you can freeze her, and the negating will block her damage to you, then you should at least (if she freezes) get one to two hits where you can possibly do some damage with any damage weapons+potions/pylonics+scrolls that you have.

I feel the same. I broke a hundred battles and on the one hand, I have TIME to sit here and battle, but it's so BORING do I really want to?

Exactly. I have the time, but not the motivation. It also feels like you've done more than you actually have. I'll think I did 18 battles or something and it turns out to be more like 8. So much clicking! Ugh.

Yup. I was certain I'd done 20 more battles than I meant to but it turns out I had only done 8 extra -___- and having to equip pylonics if I feel like going to the trouble to buy them. Ugh ugh.

Really I have to decide how much I'll kick myself later for not participating more now..

Pylonics are like little potions you can carry into battle with you, they are called things like Negating Pylonic, Sanctifying Pylonic, etc, and they all have different effects. subetalodge.org is a good place to look up what they each do. (Sorry if this is redundant)

Oh wow, I don't know how you managed 100 ! I'm at about 20 and the constant re-requipping of pylonics and all the clicking is starting to get to me. LOL

keep up the battles! I remember when we fought Tempest a lot of people regretted not fighting a bit more when we got the memory of a dismal day wearable.

My only excuse is that Tuesdays at work I have almost literally nothing to do :P I'm also not bothering with pylonics much, as long as I can get 1000 damage in per battle I don't care if I get knocked out in one round

Yes! You can only have one type of pylonic/throwing vial at a time, so you have to break away from fighting to go equip more. Whyyy. I understand not wanting us to have more than one in a battle, but I want to equip a bunch so I don't have to refill so often.
