A negating pylonic is going to be your best bet - and a freezing weapon if you have one. As others have posted here

1. damage weapon+negating pylonic+freezing weapon
2. damage weapon+damage weapon
3. damage weapon+damage weapon

If you get frozen too, you'll miss one of those chances. Without the negating pylonic, it will just block any possible damage you can do and kill you instantly.

Do the rewards entirely have to do with how many other people are battling (x prize is only for those in the top 100, top 10, each tier, etc)? I'm still not sure how this works, no matter how many battles I sit through. Sorry if it's a silly question!

Between pylonics and healing after each battle and 's post convincing me to buy a new weapon, this is getting to be a pricy fight!

now i consider myself to be a very patient person in real life, but my goodness i'm driving myself insane with boredom repeatedly battling the wonderful looking 6 armed beastie... -_- lol

In the past community boss battles were rewarded like (these are only examples):

• everyone who participated got prizes 1,2,3
• everyone who made more than 20,000 damage in total got prize 4+5 as well
• with more than 50,000 damage people got another item

...and so on

The "end game" rewards were reserved for the Top10/Top20 of each tier, in most cases a nice weapon has been part of it.

Intricate Energized Helmet is a Tier 9 Freezer, Deluxe Death Shard Tier 5 I believe but they both are great freezer choices for Tier 10+ as well.

You can find them on the shop search - though they're pretty pricey (60K) - I can't remember what NPC shop they're in, but at the moment the shop isn't showing up in search so there can't be any in stock there. The pylonic will block all the temple guardian's damage for one hit (which is why you want to use a freezing weapon too). If you manage to freeze it you've survived the first hit, because of the no damage thing, then it's frozen for the next two rounds (unless you get frozen first in which case you lose one of your three shots). A glaciating pylonic is what I use in the second hit to see if I can chain freeze her to get an extra couple rounds in there. I also use fatal fire and winter spirit scrolls, and I have a couple of the other pylonics that do damage, though you can also use potions (like dark magma potion for example). I'm only tier 5 and I manage, if I don't get frozen, anywhere between 600-1500 total damage a fight depending on if I can chain freeze her or not.

As for a good T10 weapon, I'm afraid I don't know of any because I'm not there yet lol - but there are several people on here that are T10 that could offer advice, or someone could repost the link to the guide in the forums that tells you about the best weapons per tier.

Ah, okay! That makes sense. I wasn't sure to include that because I felt like pure damage count would be an odd threshold with people being on so many different damage tiers, but that's fair to those who spend so much time battling. Thank you for clearing that up!

It should still be there. I think you just aren't allowed to stay inactive in battle for too long in order to prevent people from just sitting there and waiting to steal the final blow on the opponent.

i have to say iam loving the unstable fairy scroll

I fought the Left Flanking Guardian 151 times before it was finished. For one brief moment I thought, "I'll do even better against the next one!" And then I realized, no, I don't actually care enough to put that amount of effort in. Selecting the same weapons/scrolls, getting killed in one move, healing, and then going in again is tedious. I don't have the attention span for that. I think I'm done.
