He's not joining any team. He got distracted by the idea of free stuff, then said wait until tonight for more information, and then the admins added at the bottom that he won't be helping any team win trail points with the implication being he might help both teams.

We're not sure what he'll be up to, but he definitely didn't join our team.

Not sure what list you're referring to? I do know that Icy Goods and Accessories have a lot of cheap items in the pawn shop (like, selling for around or less than 500) so if I were to guess those would be my guesses. Also, food, since we haven't been asked to donate from any of the food shops yet. Your guess is as good as ours!
