I keep getting wiped out by those scarabs.... Are my fights worth it still?

Do I have to go back to the trail every time I battle one for it to count? Or can I click the 'fight opponent again' button?

Yeah really. But they seem to have set amounts so it is just like battling the gellies.
I tried to fight, got flattened right off the cuff, I don't do much battling.

So I battled three times and got whacked of course. But I never got a point for the event...anyone else have that happen?

Observations from Log
- It appears to take 29 minutes from the end of most obstacles until the beginning of the next one, with the exceptions of monsoons (which take 15 minutes from the end of the monsoon until the next obstacle is encountered).
- Speed Boosts speed up obstacle encounters as well (seems to halve the time between encounters).
- The monsoon and wind obstacles take 20 minutes to pass.
- Monsoon and wind obstacles have occurred back-to-back without wait-time in between.

Woo hoo! Just before that came, I was about to post to say that I've seen nothing in the last 3 hours, which was frustrating since I live in Korea and was asleep for the other obstacles. I'm so glad we finally got something! Hopefully we can get a speed boost next!

I was able to get 8-10 of the scarabs. My jaw is dropping at those of you getting 30+!

Finally got my 5/5 thingies.
- just remember that the group needs to play Survivor as soon as a speed boost takes effect in order to get our food back up, which then gets our energy up to avoid the dreaded 30 minute no energy halt. The food/energy levels drop to set amounts as soon as the speed boost happens, so who ever is online then needs to remind everyone else.
