When I was younger my ideal job was to become a Zoologist so I could work with animals for the rest of my life. My grades said I wasn't "smart enough" for that though so those plans fell apart.
Then as years went by my artwork talents improved tremendously, especially once I got a graphics tablet to produce digital art. I also play online video games, so my 2nd ideal job and one that I'd absolutely die to be able to do, is a concept artist for games. I design and create things they ask for to be added to the game, or potential appearances, and they decide which is best. That would make me so happy.
I'd like to be a professional lottery winner. I'd win the lottery and sit at home.

My ideal job, would be no job but still get a paycheck
hahaha
Medical field, im currently a phlebotomist, but i'd like to be a radiologist.
Dream job forever and ever omg: ornithologist. That's what I went to college planning to be (well, specifically, an evolutionary biologist of sorts). I'd still be happy to work at some kind of aviary, even if that's all I did for the rest of my life.
I am pursuing a career in editing/publishing/writing, but honestly, as much as I love it, it depresses me sometimes because I just feel like the biggest fraud who probably won't make it anyway haha.

I would love to do something art related, painting or photography. I always wanted to be a early childhood teacher when I was in school, can't see me doing that now, to many mental issue that I'm trying to work out.
I have a dream that one day o line in a house built by myself and my love. A house shaped like a half-buried mushroom on a plot of forested land shared with close friends and like-minded folk. The house is sustainable and doesn't take much money to maintain, if any at all, so a normal, regularly-scheduled job isn't quite as necessary. I'll have the free time I'd love to develop my current art and craft skills (I draw, paint a bit, bind books, decorate premade boxes, and occasionally write) as well as new ones (leather- and woodworking, furniture building, stained glass). I like to think I'm capable of generating income from my art when I have the time to make it but don't necessarily -need- the money. Pressure is a mood and inspiration killer.
Originally, I wanted to be a cardiac surgeon. I quickly realized that I hate what the medical system is becoming, however, and now my greatest passion is to one day be a marine conservationist. I'm half way there, I've just got to keep trucking!
Also, being an astronaut would be cool.
I work in a childrens nursery and love it! I love working with kids!
I'm working at a book store and I really think it's the best job ever. That is the second shop I work in and I still loe this job!
I'm currently at university studying games design!! Hoping to become a games artist in the future ^_^
I would want to do something to make the world more sustainable. I habe some kind of job right now but i am helping people, not the environment.
tattoo artist! i'm a piercer in training right now at a tattoo shop but i want to be an artist.

My overall dream job is building with Legos. But that is hindered by a lack of resources and my simplistic creativity. But as for a realistic career, maybe a language interpreter. I find some to be appalling when they don't understand local jargon or use too formal wording. Its like they're not from around here at all.
